Criterion 1: Historic Thermal Town
∗ The source of an active thermal, natural mineral water
∗ Facilities utilising the thermal water for medical, hydrotherapyand wellness
∗ Confirm quality standard and regulations for the source(s) of thermal water
∗ Description of the personnel responsible for the management of the thermal water
∗ Describe the regime and management system for the control of the thermal water
∗ Responsibility for the control and standards of medical treatments within the thermal facilities

Thermal Water
∗ Evidence of promotional activity related to the thermal treatments
∗ Examples of branding; logos, trademarks, corporate identity and partnerships
∗ Management of visitor and cultural activities

∗ Commercial products developed from the natural thermal resources
∗ Any corporate sponsorship or partners supporting the municipal authorities
