    LET-400-RDCMAIN FEATURES

    Permanent current up to 400A 1 kVA in 4 ranges. Built in digital ammeter 0.5% accuracy. Built in digital timer resolution 1 ms. Thermal and shortcircuit protection. Variable AC and DC voltage up to 220V. Variable auxiliary DC power supply up to 220V.

    APPLICATIONS

    Test of the I/T curve in primary current relays test. Primary injection tests. Test of measurement and protection transformers. In general, primary injection tests including the

    complete loop, such as current transformer ca-bles, protective relays, and circuit breakers.

    DESCRIPTION The LET-400-RDC is designed to perform most of the primary tests thatare necessary in substations commissioning. It allows to perform withsufficient power, all the primary current injections to test the properfunction and wiring of all the elements that compose the protection and

    measuring section in a substation.The regulation system is based on a continuously variable autotrans-former (Variac) that supplies to a power transformer that delivers thehigh current outputs and isolate the main supply from the load. A built-in ammeter and a timer gives the information about the current valueand the operation time of the relay or breaker under test.

    FEATURESPower outputs There are four different current outputs: 0 - 10A 0 - 100V 0 - 50A 0 - 20V 0 - 200A 0 - 5V 0 - 400A 0 - 2.5VTimerIn the control and regulation unit there is a timer installed that can workwith dry signals or with voltage signals the timer can measure in CY-CLES as well it is an autorange, 5-digit digital timer with the followingmeasuring ranges: 00.001- 99.999 s 99.999 - 999.99 s 999.99 - 9999.9 s 9999.9 - 99999 s

    Ammeter/Voltmeter Installed in the control and regulation unit it is a digital instrument of

    4 digits. The accuracy is 0.5% of the reading 1 digit.Protections The equipment is protected by thermal and shortcircuit magnetic relays.The outputs are also thermal protected to avoid excess in the duty cy-cle. Once this protection trips the connection of the output is not possi-ble until the thermal element detects that the temperature drops to anacceptable and safe level.
