The Evac MBR advanced membrane bioreactor wastewater treatment plant is suitable for all vessel types. The MBR plant handles all black (sewage) and gray waters from galleys, sinks, showers, and laundry facilities.

All Evac MBR units are certified according to IMO MARPOL MEPC 227(64) with nutrient removal, thus fulfilling the amendments to Chapter 4.2 of MEPC 227 for passenger ships in restricted areas such as the Baltic Sea. The Evac MBR units also fulfill the requirements of the Rhine River certification and are U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) approved.

MBR units are also available with vacuum creation (C) equipment and nutrient removal (N) as an option.Customized units for vessels with limited available space are also available. NOTE: Large MBR units do not include an equalization tank. Evac reserves the right to make modifications
