Conclusions
q Liveviruscanbedetectedupto7daysaVerroomhasbeenevacuated.
q Onaverageliveviruswasdetectedhighestandlongestinfaeces.q Onaveragethelowestviruswasdetectedonthewallsandshortestonthefoodtrough.q TherewasnotalargedifferencebetweenvirusRtreandsurvivalRmebetweentheroomscontaminatedbyclinicalemissioncomparedtopre-clinicalemissions.q Theresultsofthisstudywillbecombinedwiththoseoftheriskoftransmissionfromexposuretocontaminatedenvironment.ThiswillgiveabeYerunderstandingoftheeffectofdisinfecRonandwaiRngRmebeforere-populaRononthecontrolofFMDoutbreaks.
