What have you learnt about technologies from

the process of constructing this

product?

HARDWARE

CAMERA

For our film opening with I used a Samsung camera. The quality of the camera was very good and clear hence why I used it. I learnt that when using the camera I could use a variety of effects such as turn on or off lighting. I could zoom in and out while recording which helped me a lot while filming. Another thing I learnt that when recording you could use a variety of views such as landscape for the setting.

IMAC

I used the IMac computers to create all my research and planning. The main reason for using the IMAC was the software it included the IMovie where we edited our opening. There were also other software's I used such as iTunes to listening and downloading sound effects/music.

SOFTWARE

IMOVIE

IMOVIE is a software on the IMAC computers used for editing . Me and my partner decided to use this software because it’s easy quick to learn how to use. You learn different things on the software such as transitions and movie effects.I contributed a little to editing such as choice of music, order of title sequences but my partner put all of it together. I learnt that you can adjust, edit music to where you want for example at the end or start of a opening.

ONLINE TOOLS

Blogger

Blogger is a online tool where you can create your own blog and post images, text and images for the public to see. I never used Blogger before but it was easy to learn how to use it. I learned things like tagging posts which allows me what I have done and what I haven’t by clicking on the categories.

Mindmeister

This was another tool I used in this project. This online tool allows you to create mind maps of ideas you have which for us would be our film opening. We put ideas on our mind map such as locations, props, actors, music, camera shots etc. one thing I learnt how to do was to how to add pictures from websites such as Google or pictures we had taken.

SLIDESHARE

The last online tool I used was slide share which allows you to put your PowerPoint into a easy to use slideshow. I used this because it looks better than a plain PowerPoint presentation. One thing I learnt is that you can embed you slideshow onto your blogger by clicking copying and pasting the html onto your blog.
