Qualitative assessment

Very informative

presentations

…would have required more time for in-depth discussions as such exchanges are of great value

Organisation was excellent

Sharing experiences and knowledge is especially important for LDCs like my country

More time needed so that more country examples could be shared

Page 16: Evaluation of Second Interregional Meeting on South-South Cooperation

Qualitative assessment

Need webpage that includes cases on the successful use and potential of IP from countries of the South

Developing countries and

LDCs need to move

beyond the sharing of

experiences and

cooperate on concrete

projects in the field of IP

Would be useful to have an online library with all presentations

Need for more

focused and

thematic

South-South

meetings

In addition to learning

about lessons learned,

developing countries and

LDCs need guidance on

how to implement good

practices, step by step

Need more

trainings

and workshops

Page 17: Evaluation of Second Interregional Meeting on South-South Cooperation

In conclusionSouth-South Meeting provided a platform for a fruitful exchange of experiences and lessons learned, bringing together countries from all regions

More time needed for more in-depth discussions

Beyond the sharing of experiences, there is a need for more practical trainings and workshops based on successful country experiences in using IP as a tool for development

Important role of traditional donors and of the multilateral system as catalysts of South-South cooperation and in scaling-up the impact of South-South cooperation
