    11--11 Key FindingsKey Findings ViewpointViewpoint Only 42% of volunteers recognized

    themselves more than 80% of attainment of

    their activities goals.

    The key helping force is Good relationship

    and Adaptation for native culture and

    communities rule. And the key hindering

    force is Communication.

    The most outstanding impact was havingtransferred the attitude and the responsibility

    towards work, followed by having

    transferred the appropriate technology.

    11--22 Key FindingsKey Findings ViewpointViewpoint More than twice number of both counterparts

    and beneficiaries had a very positive impressionabout Japan and Japanese people compared with

    before having volunteers in their places.

    74% of the families or the company companionsin Japan of volunteers deepened their

    understanding about the countries where the

    volunteers were placed.

    83% showed their strong interest on

    volunteerism in general.

    changes in Sense of value or Life

    Philosophy. Only 60% of volunteers recognized that the

    participation to JICA volunteer enriched their

    professional career. Almost 90% of the returned volunteers had

    opportunities for speech or seminar about

    their experience in public, and 24% ofvolunteers participated in the developmenteducation at elementary, junior high or high

    schools
