Apprenticeships Staff Support ProgrammeAELP (with AoC, Holex, 157 Group, NIACE and Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce).
Delivered through a range of provider-led projects, focused on two broad themes:
• developing relationships with employers to secure the range and quality of apprenticeship opportunities;
• further developing vocational teaching, learning and assessment, and curriculum development capacity, with a focus on approaches to embedding English and maths, and building on the vocational pedagogy findings from the CAVTL report.
Traineeships Staff Support ProgrammeWith AELP (with AoC, Holex, NIACE, 157 Group and Spirit Pub Co)
Based on 14 provider-led projects. The four key priorities for the programme are:
• supporting the delivery of English, maths and employability skills;
• developing effective work placements; • initial assessment and IAG and; • strategies for working with vulnerable learners.
By September, this will produce a range of professional development resources for staff involved in the delivery of traineeships.
