DECEMBER 2018MINISTRY UPDATE

Iglesia Bautista Calvario - Statesville, NCWe are so thankful for the Lord’s moving in our congregation. The Lord has given us some sweet services and we are praying that the Lord would begin to give our people a greater desire to live for Him and have a heart for souls. We have started some special meetings for the ladies and the men. We will begin having classes for couples culminating in our first couple’s retreat in May. We have a lot planned for next year with many special conferences and the start of a new work in Conover, NC. Please pray that the Lord would bless our efforts.

Misión Bautista Calvario - Colonial Heights, VAWe have been praying much that the Lord would lead an Hispanic family to take over the work there, but have not been able to see that happen. Bro. David and his wife are doing a tremendous job there and are seeing some great results. They have seen new families begin to come and are averaging close to 20 for each service. Please pray for the salvation of a young girl named Isis. She is really searching for the truth.

Hispanic Jail Ministry Because of our schedules now, we have had to suspend this ministry in Mountain City, TN. We are looking at getting back into the county jail here in Statesville and both Robyn and I have renewed our chaplain status and will look to begin that again this coming year.

Spanish Bible DistributionThe Lord continues to bless this ministry. We were able to bring a case of Bibles down to Columbia, SA that we distributed among 5 different ministries there. We also sent a case to a new Hispanic church plant just outside of Houston, TX.

2018 Missions Trip to Colombia, SAWhat an awesome opportunity we had to go to Colombia, SA to help Pastor Freddy Nieto

in his ministry in Bogota. We had a team of 15 from our home church that went and we were able to minister in 5 different churches, 1 Christian school, and a home for abandoned children. Robyn, our son James, and myself were the official translators for the group. I had the blessed opportunity to preach 11 times! We are looking forward to leading another trip in 2019.

Family HappeningsIf the ministry was not enough, we are also staying busy with school and sports. Our daughter, Alycia, her husband and their family have moved in with us while they raise support for their ministry to the halls of Congress with Awake America. Thank the Lord they are at 42% of their support. Eva has done great at Crown College and is home for a long Christmas break. Please pray that we would continue to be sensitive to His will in all that we are doing.
