Now in its 3nd year in M.O.R.E., composting is
available in all of our shared undergrad and a
few grad houses, and in the apt. buildings.
Small green bins are in kitchens of shared
houses.
Apts get their buckets from the housing
office. FREE !
Larger collection bins are located outside at the back of each house & in bsmnts of
apts from which Compost Mtl picks up.
How do you compost ? :
collect organic garbage scraps/refuse
into green bins located in your resi-
dence kitchens.
Remove bag filled with compost once a
day from kitchen bin, tie it closed with liner bag, and then place into the large outdoor bin directly at back of your
residence. You must do this, not housing staff.
The larger outside compost collection bins have a lock with a combination

REMINDER ABOUT REGULAR GARBAGE
REMOVE regular GARBAGE FROM YOUR kitchens/bathroom DAILY and
bring it to the large containers for this at the back of your building or in the
garage. Once a week PEACE cleaning brings the garbage outside to the curb
for the City to pick up and Compost Mtl picks up the compost every Monday.
