The Stadtbad Oderberger was designed in 1898 by the architect Ludwig Hoffmann to provide the then rapid-

ly growing Prenzlauer Berg district with public facilities. In 1986 the baths were forced to close due to cracks

in the pool and remained empty from then on. In 2012, the renovation of the building began, with doors of

the Hotel Oderberger Berlin opening in January 2016. The indoor swimming pool was used exclusively as an

event location, but on 29.09.2016 the swimming pool was opened after 30 years not only for swimming, but

also for dancing on the water. By means of a special lifting floor which can be raised up to the level of the

basin, the cathedral‘s main hall can be used for ceremonies of all kinds.

The main hall is the heart of the town baths. The

cathedral-style neo-renaissance-style swimming pool

offers space for events of up to 400 people and is an

exceptional event location for galas, company parties,

conventions, parties or concerts.

A lifting floor with hydraulic technology makes it

possible to drive the pool floor upwards: you are

literally celebrating on the water!

The Kaminbar is a public cocktail bar and open daily

from 17:00. It is located on the ground floor at the front

of the building. In the former changing rooms of the

town baths a 100 sqm room includes bar and solid

fireplace from old stones of the bath.

In addition to high-quality drinks and a fine selection of

wines, we offer small-sized portions of Berlin cuisine in

the Kaminbar.

In the former dressing rooms of the town baths the li-

brary was created, offering an event space with a unique

atmosphere. The historical structure has been preserved

and complemented by modern design accents. Flexible

seating configurations allow events of any kind with up

to 50 people.

Especially suitable for get-togethers, meetings or small

setting seminars. The seating can of course be individu-

alized.

Food and drink at the Hotel Oderberger

Berlin is renowned for its extravagant restaurants and

bars. The Oderberger restaurant is built in the former

thermal power plant of the city bath occupying three

levels with a total height of 15 meters. Serving regional,

fine cuisine, the focus is on selected German wines. Ope-

ning of the restaurant is in summer 2017.

The Oderberger Stadtbad is not only a spectacular

venue, but as a Hotel Oderberger Berlin, it also offers

you the possibility to book accommodations in the same

venue. The Hotel Oderberger has 70 rooms, 5 tower

suites and 2 apartments.

The rooms are located in the historic front building and

the side wings of the town baths and have partial direct

access to the courtyards. Each of the approx.

20 sqm – 30 sqm rooms is equipped with parquet floor-

ing and boxspring beds.
