The biggest weekender festival on the island is back in June 2017 and this year the festival starts on Thursday… more fun, more music and more days.

More days! The Earth Garden Festival opens its doors at Ta’ Qali National Park, on Thursday 1st June at 18.00 and will run until Sunday 4th June. This means that campers have an extra day but this is not just about it! There will be a new camping site; the original camping site, now named as the Festive Grove Campsite, is found in the heart of the Festival area next to Enchanted Forest and the Ethnic Market. The new and second camping site, the Green Meadows Campsite will be situated within the perimeter of the festival grounds. This new extended area will be close to the new location of the Electronic Sphere.

More fun! The Festival attracts over 25,000 visitors and even though year-after-year it has grown, the Earth Garden Festival has retained it’s roots of green conscience and eclectic music styles.

More music! Music has always been at the heart of the Earth Garden Festival. There is, of course

the return of the 22m set-up of the Roots stage that was revamped last year. This year nearly all acts on roots stage are foreign acts. The Electronic Sphere is being relocated to a larger location with more room to move and dance under the shade of the palm trees. In line with the festival’s promise to give you a bigger and louder Festival, this year there will be a new music area, the Strawberry Hill.

And it’s not just about the music – besides the 4 music areas there are 2 camping zones with all amenities, jamming area revamped and named Musical Playground, Healing Fields in a new spacious location, Ethnic and Holistic market, Fun park, Food Court with a variety of healthy and food from different cuisines and numerous fully stocked bars.

This year’s edition is biggest so far! The 2017 Earth Garden is four days of sun and much more. Festival Tickets can be bought for just €25 for the whole 4 days!

So, mark your diary, book your leave, as Earth Garden Festival is coming on the 1st until the 4th of June at Ta’ Qali National Park.

Earth Garden Festival had always a green conscience, but these last few editions we have invested in a waste management policy. Last year, we introduced the optional reusable cup, this year we are going a step further as the reusable cup returns, but is not optional. We have 3 cup sizes and for a minimum refundable

deposit of €0.60c, we will be saving Mother-Earth from harmful waste. There will be washing stations around the Festival grounds that can be used to clean the cups. We invite you to embrace this new initiative, and help us in doing our bit and generate less waste!

An international showcase of Artists! Our artists hail from different parts of the world, namely; France, Germany, UK, Israel, Portugal, Spain, South America, Australia, bringing not only various styles of music but also a fusion of different cultures coming together in one common language; music.

A newly located Electronic Sphere. A stage set-up with projections and shaded dance floor. This new area will give more room to move and dance to the sound of techno tunes, rave, acid and psychedelic music.

We open on Thursday with the return of Dub at Earth Garden by Bass Culture; on Friday, A Critical Mass will be spinning eighties electronica; on Saturday, a world music night by Mundo Muzika and Sunday, hosted by Juuls, it’s all about reggae music. All through the afternoons it’s time for acoustic sets.

A revamped Jamming Area! With electronic artists becoming so talented musically we want to offer a set up through which they can join in the jam with effects, loopers and synthesized music they are more familiar with. Music workshops and other activities, such as a music library will be hosted by Musical Ground.

Another revamped area, relocated to a larger secluded area. Besides workshops there will be Healing Therapies, an Acro-Yoga Playground, Art Haven, Pop Up Installations, Trees of Life and a Chill-Out Vortex. Hosted by WhyNot?

Tease your taste buds! In the food court area one finds an array of stands providing different world cuisine dishes, as well as, vegetarian and healthy options. Definitely not the typical fast food.

Earth Garden is all about fun! The Fun Park, featuring games and activities promises to be amusing and entertaining not just for the young ones, but also for the young at heart!

A Feast of Colours! Here visitors can walk through the stands filled with handmade creations amidst a colourful array of unique and attractive designs within a free-spirited atmosphere.

A new area, the Strawberry Hill, will be spinning genres of music new to Earth Garden. A led light installation will accompany this area! This will be located in the space previously hosting the Electronic Sphere. Get ready for DrumNBass, Disco & House Music.

The Ska Band from Australia released their third studio album to critical acclaim, played over 120 shows in 9 countries including Boomtown Fair and Boardmasters, have enjoyed world wide radio play.

Over the past ten years, Terrakota has forged its own pan-African and trans-Atlantic rootsworldkota sound. The band embraces its Portuguese roots while diving more deeply into their rock influences with a message of hope for humanity.

Moulettes are a Brighton based British band of multi-instrumentalists with 2 part harmony female vocals, amplified Cello, Auto-Harp, Electric Guitar, Drums, Bass and Synths and samples woven into an incomparable alt.pop/rock/ folk universe.

Al Jawala were amongst the first to shake up wild oriental brass with clubby beats and Hip-Hop, and all this with no electronics at all as they have been busking around Europe as street musicians, igniting the fire of a whole gypsy brass band on countless drums and two saxophones.

The biggest live funk music party act has just got together in this fresh but spiced up band. A project of Mark Kram including fifteen musicians and singers and a 6-piece brass section guaranteed to keep a funky crowd dancing!

The formerly illegal immigrants on the streets of Barcelona have been sharing their Ska music in all the five continents for the last 15years! It is a band with a mission, a band that sees itself as a medium for collective consciousness.

ManaTapu is not only a band but a family. Composed of 6 members hailing from 5 different countries. After an absence from stage, they return to perform for the loyal crowd of Earth Garden!

Known as the most important Italian band in its genre, known for the peculiar mix of folk and “world” influences with ska and rock. The band has sold more than 1.0000.000 copies of their CDs in the last 20 years.

For many years he has been a member of the Rotterdam underground collective ‘Strictly Techno’, creators of over a hundred legendary parties since 1996. Bas has played at many ‘top of the bill’ clubs and festivals around the globe and is a regular guest at the highly respected Awakenings parties in Holland.

Fotis aka Alchemix is no stranger in the Psychedelic trance world. Having played at various festivals and parties around the world since the late 90’s he’s presenting his brand new project Mind Lab.

Altern 8 are the British rave duo. Formed in the embryonic pre rave days of 1990, the duo dominate the Rave scene into 1992. Recently they have re-emerged into the British dance scene. This is the moment you’ve ALL been waiting for!

Outlook Festival & Warning resident Blazin’ is one of the few DJ’s in the Drum and Bass and Jungle scene getting booked to play on the main stage at the biggest events worldwide entirely for his skills on the decks.
