HOW TO CREATE A RODAN + FIELDS EVENT ON EVENTBRITE

Efficiently coordinate all your Rodan + Fields events from start to finish with Eventbrite. This step-by-step guide will show you how to use our exclusive R+F-branded templates to seamlessly plan, promote and track attendance at your next Consultant-led event, training session or team celebration.

If you are not logged in or are new to Eventbrite, you will be directed to the “Log in” page (a). You can log in or click “Or, sign up” to create an Eventbrite account (b).

LOG INTO EVENTBRITE

1. Visit http://myevents.rodanandfields.com. Click “Get Started.”

2. Click “Allow” so “Community Pages by Nvite” can connect to your Eventbrite account in order to access the R+F-branded templates and add your completed event to the Home Page or the Rodan + Fields Consultant-Led Event Calendar. Rodan + Fields has partnered with Nvite to re-design the templates to reflect our refreshed look and sophisticated branding.

Skip to Step 3 if you have already authorized this.

NOTE: Allowing access does not give Nvite or Rodan + Fields access to your credit card payment information.

3. From the pop-up window “Select A Template” choose your event type.

• Business Presentation Event – Use this template to organize your next Business Presentation to help your team and prospective Consultants and Customers learn how to launch a business on their own terms.

• Corporate-Attended Business Presentation Event – Use this template to organize your next Business Presentation Event featuring a guest from the Rodan + Fields Home Office.

• Consultant Learning Event – Use this template to organize your next Consultant Learning Event to share valuable resources for getting your R+F business off to a strong start.

• Business Launch Event – Use this template to organize your Business Launch Event to share how you launched your own skincare business.

• Road to RFX: Lexus Celebration Event – Use this template to organize your Road to RFX: Lexus Celebration Event for you or a team member and let your supporters share in this momentous occasion.

4. Click “Create New Event” to start a new event. You may apply the R+F-branded template to an existing event by locating it on the list, then click “Apply.”

5. Click “Edit Event” to enter your event details.

NOTE: Keep the “Template Applied” screen open to later preview your completed event page in the R+F-branded template.

EDIT EVENT DETAILS

6. Use the pre-populated event title provided for brand consistency.

• For Corporate-Attended Business Presentation Events, type in the R+F Home Office Speaker name in the title

• For Business Launch Events, type your name in the title

• For Road to RFX: Lexus Celebration Events, type your name in your title

7. Specify the event location, followed by the street address, state, and zip code. Alternatively, you may also select “Online event” if it is not an in-person event. You may also select to display the map on your event page.

8. Specify a time for your event. Click on “Time zone & date settings” to select your time zone and display options for your event times, then click “Save.”

9. You do not need to upload your own event image. An image will be provided for you in the R+F-branded template for brand consistency. To see this image and view your event in the proper template, refer to Step 18.

10. Use the pre-populated event description provided for brand consistency.

12. Confirm your name or enter in a new Organizer Name. You may also add links to your Facebook or Twitter profile to appear on the event page.

11. Click on “Add FAQs” if you would like to add Frequently Asked Questions for your attendees. Select the questions you would like to include and click “Add.” Then, type in your answers in the “Event Description.”

13. Select free, paid, or donation ticket option(s). For each ticket option, create a ticket name, quantity and price. For paid ticket and donation options, you will need to choose a country and currency in which you will be paid.

14. Under Additional Settings, set your event listing privacy to “Public Page” for it to appear on the Home Page or the Rodan + Fields Consultant-Led Event Calendar.

15. From the Event Type dropdown list, select “Meeting or Networking Event.” From the Event Topic dropdown list, select “Business & Professional.” You may also select to show the number of remaining tickets on your event listing.

16. Select “Save” if you are not ready to make your event live and would like to continue editing later.

17. Select “Make Your Event Live” when you are ready to publicize your event. Making your event live will auto-populate it on the public Rodan + Fields Consultant-Led Event Calendar and make the event searchable on Google and Eventbrite. Once your event goes live, you will receive a confirmation email.

NOTE: Do not click “Preview” from the Eventbrite “Edit Details” screen or from your Eventbrite dashboard. Previewing here will not display your event page in the R+F-branded template.

18. To view your new event page in the R+F-branded template, you may search for it on the Home Page and Rodan + Fields Consultant-Led Event Calendar, or go back to the “Template Applied” screen from Step 5 and click “Preview Event.” Your event page will open in a new tab.

Consultant-led events created on Evenbrite are managed and hosted by Consultants; they are not sponsored or endorsed by the Rodan + Fields Home Office but may be corporate-attended. Consultants cover all costs of setting up a Consultant-led event (venue, A/V, food & beverage, if any) and all costs of attending (registration, transportation, etc.).

SHARE YOUR EVENT

19. From your event page, simply click one of the share buttons in the upper right-hand corner to generate an event shareable with a pre-populated image and invitational message on Twitter, Facebook, or email. You can also click the Copy icon to easily share your event page URL directly with your invitees. Have a great event!
