WHAT IS HOT IN FRENCH POLYNESIA?WHAT IS HOT IN FRENCH POLYNESIA?WHAT IS HOT IN FRENCH POLYNESIA?WHAT IS HOT IN FRENCH POLYNESIA?
French Polynesia is an intriguing enigma, not only to the people elsewhere in the world, who
look at a map and see the beautiful South Sea Islands floating way down in the South Pacific,
but also to the Tahitian locals, who can spend years making leisurely exploration and still feel
they’ve only just begun to comprehend the full nature of their own back yard Paradise.
You may come to Tahiti and her island to seek paradise, but as soon as you set foot on its
shores, you’ll find a whole lot more…you’ll discover experiences of a life time. The beauty of
the Polynesian people is famous world-wide.
But only those who visit the island know that it’s contagious. Sure enough, there’s
something in the air, the food, and the local concoctions that give those down on the island
a gorgeous glow.
Your clients’ attendees will credit their rejuvenation to the unique island light that energizes
their spirit. They thank the gentle lapping of the lagoon waters and the songs of the wind for
a new found relaxed state of mind. It also helps that when in Tahiti, visitors unthinkingly do
as the Tahitians.
The Polynesians philosophy is that the simple life is the better life. Says one local lovely, “we
believe only in what is real and natural. How could anything artificial possibly be better than
what we have?”
Just an eight-hour flight from Los Angeles – Tahiti offers surprisingly easy access to a truly
magical experience for your incentive attendees staying at Le Meridien Resorts in Papeete
and Bora Bora
Tahiti and her islands offer experiences that cannot be found elsewhere in the world. Your
own private over-water bungalow to swim in shallow turquoise lagoon waters with hundreds
of tropical fish; it’s an unrivalled incentive reward. Event and activities are endless....come
and experience it all!

ECOLOGICAL CENTER AND TURTLE SANCTUARY
Located on the resort’s private
lagoon, the turtle sanctuary
remains unique in its conception
and location. The project originated
when an injured turtle was brought
to the hotel by a guest as it needed
care. From there: a fabulous
project was born: the creation of a
center for the protection of marine
turtles.
Every day Le Meridien Bora Bora
helps protect endangered marine
turtles. Each year, baby turtles are
born at our Turtle Sanctuary or
given to us to be taken care of by a
team of biologists and a
veterinarian until they grow to a
size which will keep them safe
when they are released into the
ocean.
Our Turtle Sanctuary was founded
in association with the Polynesian
Ministry of the Environment. It
offers everyone the opportunity of
discovering the turtles in their
natural environment, a truly
remarkable sensation. In addition
to the Turtle Sanctuary, we have
developed an ecological center
with a museum, giving information
to the guest about the marine
environment. Opened in 2012, it
incorporates a laboratory and areas
where you can observe nature.
Every day at 10.30, our guests have
the opportunity to participate to
the turtle feeding, accompanied by
one of our marine biologists.
