NORTHWEST MARITIME CENTERSCHOOL PROGRAMSSchool programs keep our waterfront campus bustling throughout the year. Shoreside, students virtually drive boats on a maritime simulator, work in our boatshop, and do fun classroom activities. On the water, they sail longboats, Thunderbirds, the gaff sloop Dorjun, and the Martha J.

Throughout the school year, students work together to voyage on Port Townsend Bay, maintain the longboat, learn marine trades, and discover the natural history of the Salish Sea.
