The Apostles Saw God’s Glory

• NIV John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

We are to be People of Glory

• NKJ John 17:20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;

People of Glory

• 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

People of Glory

22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one:

23 I in them and you in me.

People of Glory

May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Jesus Brings Sons to Glory

We Reflect the Glory from Jesus

• NIV 2 Corinthians 3:13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away.

Glory from Jesus

14 But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.

15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.

16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
