MESSAGE FROM THE MAYORThe City of Greater Geraldton is a vibrant place featuring world-class facilities, an ever growing arts, culture and entertainment sector and many places of environmental and historical signifi cance.

The Everlasting Partnership Program is about developing meaningful relationships with community groups, not-for-profi t organisations, government agencies and business and industry through sponsorship of Council and community lead initiatives designed to provide long-term benefi ts to our community.

I invite you to participate in improving the lifestyle and liveability of our community by becoming part of our program, which is bringing everlasting benefi ts to our region for years and years to come.

EVERLASTING PARTNERSHIPSThe goal of the City’s Everlasting Partnership Program is to develop long-term relationships with community groups, not-for-profi t organisations, government agencies and business and industry through sponsorship of Council and community lead initiatives designed to provide long-term benefi ts to our City and its residents.

We want to develop community wide partnerships that deliver social outcomes and solutions to City region issues which help build community cohesion.

Our partnerships go beyond traditional sponsorship. They are about creating synergies, brand awareness and recognition.

Everlasting Partnerships are about:

Entering into partnerships with groups or organisations that support the Council’s and community’s vision for the City of Greater Geraldton.

Having a transparent and coordinated approach in the management of partnerships.

Providing benefi ts and recognition relevant to the level of contribution.

Providing and sustaining initiatives at a reduced or no cost to the community.

Strengthening relationships with all tiers of the community.

Engaging stakeholders at relevant stages of program.

Conducting the program in the spirit of goodwill.

The total value of your sponsorship determines the overall partnership category.

Bronze Everlasting Partner1 year of funding, $500-$1,999

Silver Everlasting Partner1 year of funding, $2000-$9,999

Gold Everlasting Partner1 year of funding, >$10,000

RECOGNITION AND BENEFITSEvery partnership arrangement has its own unique features that benefi t your group, organisation and the wider community.

The City’s Corporate Communications Team prepares marketing and communications strategies to suit the level of investment and to maximise recognition opportunities. Our Everlasting Partnerships are customised to ensure longevity, with a mix of profi le raising, brand building, publicity, participation and engagement.

PARTNERSHIP INITIATIVESThere is a full range of program initiatives available for partnership. These include events, programs, our built environment, community infrastructure, arts and culture, community development and environmental projects and services.

Community Infrastructure projects including naming rights to City facilities can also be negotiated.

The Everlasting Partnership Program is an avenue for groups and organisations to positively contribute tothe social fabric of the Cityregion.

Every partnership agreement has an element of activating the City and region.

Partnering with the City enables groups and organisations to help deliver projects and programs the community highly values.
