Who is Wally Wise Guy?

Wally Wise Guy is a 6’4” turtle that knows it's wise to go inside his shell whenever there's danger.

Wally is targeted to reach children from kindergarten to 4th grade. We teach through 3rd grade.

Wally was developed by the Community Education Task Force, a consortium of Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPC) along the Houston Channel, TX and was purchased for this program by our local facilities

Wally visits local schools and teaches kids what it means to shelter-in-place. He also visits the community folks that come to Good Neighbor Night.

Wally visits in the fall to teach concepts and then again in the spring to review those concepts. The kids LOVE Wally!

Schools visited are: Calvert City Elementary, Sharpe Elementary, Reidland Elementary, South Livingston Elementary, and North Livingston Elementary
