Anjon Manufacturing Professional Pond Kits are made with industry standard components. The new ASK-5000 and APF-16 are created with rugged materials built to last. They were developed for easy maintenance and installation. Between the mechanical and biological filtration, your pond’s water will be clearer and aquatic life will be much happier. We ensure the kit has everything you need for simple installation. The self-adjusting weir on the skimmer allows for surface debris to enter and collect in the basket, and discourages fish from entering. The large 16” spillway will make a stunning display in your water feature, pleasing to look at and listen to. With the variable speed controller you can control the flow of your waterfall. The Anjon Professional Pond Kits has all the basics you will need for a stunning water feature.

Livingponds® Versatile Filter. You no longer have to bury your filter at the top of the waterfall. You can place the F200 Versatile LivingPonds Filter up to 10 feet away from the pond.
Adding Filtration Capacity Savio Livingponds® Filters harness the natural dynamics of moving water. Adding filtration capacity is as simple as connecting filters together.
Connect two Livingponds® Versatile Filters in series to get filtration up to 10,000 gallons with a 3,000 gph flow rate.
Connecting a Livingponds® Versatile Filter and a LivingPonds® Waterfall Filter can provide filtration up to 10,000 gallons.
LivingPond Versatile Filter
The F100 LivingPonds® Filter was engineered to provide maximum biological filtration combined with easy maintenance!
F100 and F200 LivingPonds filters:F100 and F200 include all the filter media you will need. Springflow is one of the best filter medias on the market and this media does not inhibit waterflow. The water from your pump will not be restricted and you will maintain an oxygenated biological environment. Comes with a top filter pad for microfiltration and polishing the water.The F100 and F200 are designed with bottom drain capability. When you install a bottom drain to the filter, you can backflush the entire filter. The Springflow will drop filtered debris out the waste line. You can now clean your biological filter with pond water, saving the bacteria instead of killing it with chlorinated pond water.The top inflow elimanates the use of restrictive and expensive check valves. The water is then funneled into the bottom and funneled into a vortex. This vortex distributes oxygenated water throughout the filter media as pictured in these diagrams.
The F070 transforms the 31” FilterWeir into a LivingPond Filter by adding .25 cubic feet of BioComb. With the additional filter pad, it a great addition to the Compact Skimmer in any pond. Create a total filtration option for ponds up to 1200 Gallons when using the 18 Watt UV with the F070 and CS0000.

How It Works Mechanical Filtration: This first stage of filtering removes suspended debris. Water is pumped into the filters and passes through separate layers of filter media coarse and fine layers to effectively remove any unwanted debris.Biological Filtration: On the Second Stage the prefildawred water passes through the Bio Balls. This is where the biological filtration takes place.UV Filtration: The final filtering stage uses ultraviolet light to kill any remaining free floating algae as the water passes through the filter. BioPro™ Filtration
To flush the filter you; you must shut down the pump, rotate the valve from filter to flush, and turn the pump back on for as long as it takes for the water to run clear. When the water runs clear, you can stop back flushing and turn to normal operation.Using the handle to purge filters: Pumping the handle while back-washing compresses the filters for an efficient cleaning. This does not compromising your existing beneficial bacteria. The bacteria naturally converts harmful ammonia and other wastes into healthy nitrates that fertilize aquatic plants and support a healthy pond environment.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF WATERFALL FOAM?Waterfall foam ensures the water in transit stays in the feature. Any crevice you believe water could leak through fill with it with foam and small rocks. While foam is drying you want to disguise it with small rocks. Place small rocks onto the foam while it is still drying. The foam will hold them in place and then cure.
I BELIEVE MY POND IS LEAKINGThe first step to finding the leak is to turn off your pump and mark the water level of the pond with a piece of tape. Then if you see the water level has not fallen, then there is a leak in the plumbing or filter system. If the water level has continued to fall, then the leak is in the pond itself. You can continue to mark the water level periodically until it stops falling. Then you will know at what level the leak is at. Now, add some more water to the pond—about an inch or so—so you can find the leak as you work the next step with milk or cream. Take a turkey baster and fill it with some milk. You want to go very slowly and carefully around the edge of the pond trying not to disturb the water--or as little disturbance as possible. What you want to do is very carefully and slowly squeeze some milk out in an area that you want to begin searching for the leak. Work your way around the pond until you have made a complete circle. Squeeze a little milk out at your starting point and watch the milk to see if it moves in a direction. If there is a leak near it, the milk will be pulled toward the hole. It should be a contrast to the water. We want it to stay separated as much as possible. So, squeeze the turkey baster very slowly and watch for the milk to move in a direction.
HOW DO I SEAM EPDM LINER? Step #1 Layout the LinerLayout the sections of liner to be seamed. Overlap ends 6” – 12” Step #2 Clean the Seam AreaLift the top liner. Use gasoline or mineral spirits & thoroughly clean the seam area Step #3 Mark the Seam AreaWith the top liner down, use a crayon or lightly score with the back of scissors, the seam area on the bottom liner. Raise the top liner in preparation for priming. Step #4 Prime the Seam AreaPrime both liners. On the bottom liner, prime an area ¼” above the mark, approximately 6” – 8” wide. Prime a matching area on the top liner. Step #5 Apply 3” Double StickApply 3” double sided tape to the bottom liner, pressure rolling as you go to eliminate air bubbles or wrinkles. Step #6 Smooth the SeamWith the double stick paper still on, replace the top liner and pressure roll the seam. Step #7 Seal the SeamSlit the double stick tape in the center. Overlap the liners & carefully remove the paper, pulling off the tape from between the liners at a 45º angle, one side at a time. Step #8 Apply 6” Single StickPrime an area 6” wide spaced evenly over the exposed edge of the seam. Apply 6” tape over primer. Step #9 Roll and Seal ForeverThoroughly pressure roll the 6” tape and generously apply lap sealant along both edges of the 6” tape. Step #10 Allow the Seam to DryAllow the seam to dry thoroughly before contact with water.
HOW DO I WINTERIZE MY POND?PUMPIf you do not plan on running your pond in the winter, it is best to remove and winterize your pond pump. Remove your pump and let it soak in a CLR and water bath. This removes the calcium, any rust, and dirt and grit build up on your pump. Then place your pump in a bucket of water and keep it some place where it will not freeze over winter. If your pump is below the freezing line, or you live in a warm climate, then it will not be necessary to remove over winter. However, annual cleaning is very important for your pond pump. FISHIf you plan on keeping fish in your pond during winter. You will need a depth of about 3 foot. You will also need to keep a hole in the ice open for harmful gasses to escape. Without the pond pump running you will need to have some sort of aeration inside your feature. Also consider a pond heater, or another popular solution is to take the fish out and keep them inside over winter.
TROPICAL PLANTSIf you have perennials in deep enough water they will possibly be alright. As a general rule, it is always good to have an indoor solution for your plants in the winter. A water tank with good nutrients and UV lights will help keep your tropical plant investment alive. Familiarize yourself with your plants and what they will need to survive.
