Day01 Arrive Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri * On to Gangtok (135 kms/ approx. 4 hour drive)

Welcome to 'Hills of East' tour. On arrival at airport in Bagdogra or railway station in New Jalpaiguri, you will be met by our localrepresentative who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.Overnight in Gangtok - None (Meals on your own)

Day02 In Gangtok

Today, post breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Gangtok covering Rumtek Monastery, Jhakri Water Fall, DroulChorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Flower Show. The rest of the day is at leisure.Overnight in Gangtok (B)

Day03 In Gangtok * Excursion to Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir Memorial (Timing will depend on the issuance of Permit)

After breakfast, in the morning, proceed for an excursion to Tshangu Lake - situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts. with anaverage depth of 50 ft. Later, visit the Baba Mandir Memorial. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenicbeauty around. Back to Gangtok.The rest of the day is at leisure.Overnight in Gangtok (B)

Day04 On to Pelling (116 kms / approx. 5 -6 hours drive)

Today, transfer to Pelling. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight in Pelling. (B)

Day05 On to Darjeeling (115 kms / approx. 5-6 hours drive)

This morning, proceed for a half day sightseeing of Pelling covering Pelling Monastery, Rimbi Waterfalls, Rimbi HydroProject(outer view)and Khechepadi Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts). Thereafter, transfer to Darjeeling (7380 Ft / 2250 Mts) - one of themost magnificent hill resorts in the world, also known as the 'Queen of the Hills'. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure.Overnight in Darjeeling (B)

Day06 In Darjeeling

Early morning, proceed on a tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak(subject to clear weather). On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, go for a half-day sightseeing tour of Darjeeling covering Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja NaiduHimalayan Zoological Park and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing and Gombu Rock, TibetanRefugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) and Tea Estate. Day07 Depart Darjeeling * Onto Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri (94 kms / approx. 3 hour drive)
