• Soft launch: Not yet ready for release to End Users

• Hard launch: Promoted to end users from September onwards

Forthcoming Activity: Updating EV

• Exchange 2010 requires EV 9

• UoM will upgrade to EV 9 in Q4 2010

• Will require an EV Client update on Windows Workstations

• Further communications will be coming out on details & update process (GPO?)

• Still requires CAAB approval

Update on Macintoshes

• 90% of Faculty results, with estimates on outstanding 10%

• Staff Exchange Mac Users: 1500-2000 (not counting affiliates)

• Majority of workstations are licensed to be managed under Faculty/Dept ARD

• Entourage 2008 Web Services– OS Dependency: 10.4.9– Mac Office Dependency: 2008 Service
