The academic world is increasingly shaped by internationali-zation. In 2016 the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research published a paper on internationalization in educa-tion, science and research showing that nowadays almost half of the publications in Germany emerge within the context of international cooperation. In times of globalization, we benefi t greatly from intercultural competence and excellent communi-cation skills – regardless of whether we aim for a career within academia or in industry.

During the summer semester 2020, our course program places an emphasis on internationalization and intercultural cooperati-on, by offering you tools to strengthen your intercultural compe-tence and communication skills in an international environment. Moreover we strive to open your eyes to the numerous benefi ts of intercultural cooperation.
