Having the privilege and honor of leading a school requires many skill sets and capabilities. From modeling global citizenship and lifelong-learning to enhancing school programs while developing a community of learners, being a school leader is indeed an enriching opportunity to serve and support children, their parents and academic colleagues. I am immensely enjoying my current role as Executive Principal at Sekolah Buin Batu, an I.B. World and Cambridge School. Providing the best of educational services that place students at the center of subject learning is the commitment of Sekolah Buin Batu that is continuously implemented to the best by all school teams. This commitment will not be possible without continued support and collaboration of all the teachers, staff, parents, School Board, PTAMNT management, and other stakeholders. For these, we are very grateful. Congratulations to the Year 9 students who graduated this year and will continue their education in other schools. I would also like to say goodbye to students who moved to other schools this school year for family reasons. We hope that their learning experience at SBB will be a strong basis and foundation to fly higher to reach their utmost potential in their next educational journeys. We wish them all the very best! This year was an effective yet challenging one, so I would like to acknowledge some of our teams achievements. The PYP section has successfully held the PYP Exhibition, consistently applied the inquiry-based learning approach, as well as accreditation activities in Playgroup and Kindergarten. In the Secondary section, almost all students are eligible to sit the Cambridge checkpoint exams next November based on predetermined criteria, Checkpoint outstanding scores (6/6) in English, Math and Science, and our Year 9 students are accepted at their high schools of choice. In other sections such as ICT, the team has successfully implemented our school information management system to support our teaching-learning and administrative activities as well as improving our school website. Our Health and Safety Team continues to show their commitment to supporting us to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Our Student Support Team, consisting of therapists and counsellors, continues to assist our students to grow through their behavioral, emotional, psychological and emotional stages. SBB Student Representative Council keeps showing their best by continually supporting the local community through ‘real actions’. The Contest Committee sent teams to both national and international competitions and they won many medals and awards. Let's not forget our Scouting Team who continues to make many improvements; our students have represented this region by participating in the national and international scouting events with great success. This academic year has just concluded. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the great teachers who are leaving us. We appreciate your contribution to the school and we wish you success and happiness in the future. Many thanks to all parents, teachers and staff for making this week’s activities successful, report card distribution and religious activities (Retreat, Recollection, Pasraman and Pondok Ramadhan). Finally, special thanks to Ibu Yuni and Pak Connor and all involved in editing and publishing school media. Well done to all teams! We are very proud of all achievements and I am looking forward to more success in the years to come, making differences and continuous improvement. Warm greetings from Sekolah Buin Batu! Having the privilege and honor of leading a school requires
