    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

    Company Mission

    Kimha Hanna Jubi will continually seek of the innovative way of developing new

    products with high nutritional facts and benefits to offer a wide range of market. Provide

    them a great satisfaction in meeting their product expectations and establish a harmonious

    relationship with them in an exchange transaction.

    Company Vision

    The company envision itself to be the leading company that provides a healthy and of

    the best quality goods that nourishes and not just offer satisfaction but a complete customer

    delight on the human needs and wants at a competitive reasonable prices.

    Objectives of the Study

    The following are objectives of the study that will elucidate the different

    issues, actions and ideas on how the proponents will manage their propose business.

    To find out the viability and acceptability of the product to the customers.

    To determine the demographic profile of the buyer.

    To define the target customer of the business through market segmentation.

    To analyze the market demand and supply of the business.

    This feasibility study is focused on the manufacturing and distribution of

    Kamias Popsicle in the City of Santa Rosa, Laguna also known as The Lion City of

    the South. The place was chosen as the best site for the business since it is already

    city and also because it can provide more business opportunities for our product. City

    of Santa Rosa, Laguna also has stable business opportunities in the whole Province of

    Laguna, which attract moreover the fact that City of Santa Rosa, Laguna has an easy

    communication and transportation to its neighboring communities.

    The proposed business will have its target market to ensure the reliability of

    the study. The proponents will target and segment their market through their lifestyle,

    class, and capabilities. The proponents targets are the people living in the City of

    Santa Rosa, Laguna and other nearby municipalities. The respondents of this study

    were coming from not more or less numerous people from eighteen barangays in the

    City of Santa Rosa Laguna. The questionnaires will be parceled out to the selected

    respondents through random sampling.

    Hypothesis of the Study

    The establishment of Kimha Hanna Jubi Company is feasible and acceptable to the

    City of Santa Rosa, Laguna.

    The conceptual framework above illustrates the necessary data needed by the

    company such as the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of their age,

    gender, civil status, social status, income and the consumer preferences towards the

    ice popsicles that can be obtain through the use of the data gathering tools like survey

    questionnaires, interviews and observation to generate the necessary information to

    the customers acceptability level of manufacturing and distribution of the K-Pop

    (Kamias Popsicle) in the City of Santa Rosa, Laguna.

    The proponents will provide a self-made questionnaire to answer all the stated

    problems of the study. This questionnaire will be utilized to the respondents of the

    study which are indicated in the Scope and Limitation of the Study. For data

    gathering, the proponents will submit a letter of permission to conduct the said study.

    The utilization of the study will conform to the time bound of the proponents so that

    they could finish the study required by their subject matter. After collecting the data,

    the proponents will analyze the data for verification and furnishing purposes.

    The proponents will use the Slovens Formula to determine the sample size

    needed for data gathering. Here under is the detailed interpretation of the Slovens

    Significance of the Study

    This study was anticipated to contribute additional information to serve the

    following individuals and organizations. The following were the beneficiaries of this

    study namely: the consumers, the future investors, the proponents, the clients and for

    industry of ice cream Popsicle. It will also help the company because the consumers

    will give their feedbacks about the new product.

    Future Investors. This study will serve as their reference and guide that may

    help them make their business successful.

    CHAPTER II

    BUSINESS CONCEPT

    Name of the Firm/Proposal

    The company name Kimha Hanna Jubi was derived from the proponents

    names, Kimber, Mharialen, Hannah, Anna, Judith and Bianca. The proponents agreed

    to name their company after them since many of the existing company today was

    named after the owners. They came up with this name because it is unique, simple

    and easy to be retained in the customers mind.

    Kimha Hanna Jubi Company subsist to provide the market with the best

    frozen desserts that will satisfy their craving for cold products in hot weather and

    their desire for delicious desserts after eating meals. The company will cater the City

    of Santa Rosa, Laguna and also looking forward to target its neighbor towns such as

    San Pedro, Bian, Cabuyao, Calamba. The company is also aiming to target the

    provinces in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Kimha Hanna Jubi also aims to reach the

    world market.

    Proponents

    The proponents are composed of six (6) persons who agreed to be a general

    partner. They concerted that each of them must have equally divided percentage of

    ownership with sixteen point sixty-seven percent (16.67%).

    Each member of the business has different skills and knowledge which might

    help them to succeed. They possess skills in marketing, accounting and

    administrative. The aggregate skills of each member will enable the business to grow

    and be a leading company in the future.

    CHAPTER III

    DESCRIPTION OF THE BUSINESS

    History of the Firm

    The proponents was thinking of a new and unique product which is not yet

    existing in the market. Then they came up with the idea of making kamias fruit as a

    flavor of the Popsicle.

    Ice pop is not a seasonal kind of food. You can eat this whether it is cold or

    hot. We choose kamias because almost all the ice cream flavor comes from a fruit

    thats why we came up here. All of us know that kamias has a sour taste and it was a

    challenge for us, the owner, on how to make a good taste out of a sour fruit.

    Averrhoa Bilim or what is also known as Kamias has a sour taste.

    Because of its taste we decided to add sugar syrup to lessen its sourness and we came

    up sweet and sour taste that is very unique to the market.

    Logo of the Business

    Meaning of the Logo

    The logo of Kimha Hanna Jubi Company is circled-shape which represents

    unity, wholeness and infinity. Without beginning or end, without sides or corners, the

    circle is associated with the number one. This means that the proponents has a strong

    bond that keeps them tied all the time and are always striving for one goal, which is to

    become the leading company in the future.

    Inside the circle is the image of the primary ingredients of the product of the

    company. The kamias fruit. The picture has six branches of leaves that stands for the

    six partners of the business. And the fruits hanging on the middle of the branches

    serves as the customers of the business who are being cared and protected by them.

    Each colors found in the logo has significant meanings. The colors used in the

    name Kimha Hanna Jubi represents the favorite colors of each proponents and it also

    represents their personalities.

    The color Blue is seen as trustworthy, dependable and committed. As the

    meaning of the color itself, it only shows that Kimha Hanna Jubi is a company that

    customers can trust, depend on and a company that is committed in doing great things

    foor the benefit of their customers and also for the benefit of everybody. Green is the

    color of peace and ecology. The company is an eco-friendly company. They did not

    use chemicals or any toxics on their product. The company helps in conserving the

    environment. Green is soothing in relaxing. It means that the product Kimha Hanna

    Jubi offer to the market is soothing and very relaxing. Purple has a sense of mystic

    and royal qualities. It is uplifting, calming to mind and nerves and encourages

    creativity.

    MARKETING ASPECT

    Marketing is defined as the process of communicating the value of a product

    or service to customers, for the purpose of selling the product or service. It is a critical

    business function for attracting the customers. Marketing is also defined as a social

    and managerial process by which individuals and groups obtain what they need and

    want through creating and exchanging products and value with others.

    Today, we do marketing in our daily life without us even noticing it. For a

    company to be successful they must be able to deal harmoniously with their

    customers not just for short-term goal but also for a long-term. They must be able to

    build a good relationship with their customer. As it is says in the definition of

    marketing, it is very crucial for the company to have a good marketing because it is a

    critical business function for attracting customers. Marketing helps the company to

    satisfy the needs and wants of their customers through exchange processes.

    In understanding marketing, we must look both to the two basic marketing

    concepts. The earlier and the contemporary approaches. Earlier approach includes

    production orientation, product orientation and selling orientation. The contemporary

    approach in marketing include relationship marketing with focus in the customer,

    business marketing or industrial marketing with focus on organization or institution

    and social marketing with focus on benefits to society.

    Marketing is a key factor on a business success. It does not look only on the

    production and distribution of the products and services, but it also concerned on the

    ethical and social responsibilities in the domestic or even in the global environment.

    Demand and Supply

    Being new in the business industry is very essential. Thats why the

    proponents deliberated the study of the demand and supply to support the business

    and help it survive in the potential competitors and fortuitous events. Demand is an

    economic principle that describes a consumers desire, willingness and an ability to

    pay a price for a specific good or service. It is refer to how much (quantity) of a

    product or service is desired by buyers. The term demand signifies the ability or the

    willingness to buy a particular commodity at a given point of time. Supply is the

    amount of some product producers are willing and able to sell at a given price all

    other factors being held as constant. It represents how much the producer can offer to

    the market. Demand and supply is an economic model of price determination in a

    market. It concludes that in a competitive market, the unit price for a particular good

    simply because demand will enable the business determine the needs and wants of the

    market so that the firm can provide products or services for the consumptions and

    satisfactions of their markets. On the other hand, supply is the major factor on the

    production aspect and relies on the demand of the market because the number of

    supply to be produced is basing on the number of the demand of the market. Thus,

    this supply and demand helps the firm run the business and survive for long term.

    Demand Analysis

    Demand analysis refers to the research into the need of consumers for a

    specific product or service. This form of analysis is used to make out who wants to

    purchase a given product, how much they are liable to pay for it and how many units

    they may buy. It also helps to identify other factors which can be used to determine

    product design, vending cost and advertising strategy for a product. Demand analysis

    is also defined as the study that uses the data collected from sales of a specific good

    or service to determine if the product or service will be successful on the market or

    not. These studies can also be used to help find ways to increase the sales

    performance of a good or service.

    Kimha Hanna Jubi Company, decided to analyze the demand of their market

    for them to be able to know who the major consumers of their product are and what

    program is suitable for their target market. The proponents used stratified random

    sampling method to know how many citizens in the City of Santa Rosa, Laguna will

    be surveyed. The proponents use questionnaires to evoke the information needed in

    the analysis

    Using the information from the NSO in the City Hall, the proponents

    computed how many people are needed in each barangays to make the information

    reliable and relevant.

    SEC-Registered companies with pre-generated Taxpayer Identification Number

    Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)

    It is essential for a Partnership or a Corporation to register with the SEC in

    order for them to be treated as a legal or judicial entity. When the partnership capital

    is PhP 3,000 or more, in money or property, the public instrument must be recorded

    with the Securities and Exchange Commissions (SEC). Even if not registered, the

    partnership having a capital of PhP 3,000 or more is still valid and therefore has legal

    personality.

    The SEC shall not register any corporation organized for the practice of public

    accountancy (The Philippine Accountancy Act of 2005, Sec. 28).

    The purpose of the registration is to set a condition for the issuance of the

    licenses to engage in business or trade. In this way, the tax liabilities of big

    partnerships cannot be evaded, and the public can also determine more accurately

    accredited bank and submit validated Miscellaneous Payment Return (SS Form R-6) or

    5. Notify SSS of any changes in data and the status of the employers business

    operations to avoid being billed for period/s when no contributions are due. Fill up and

    submit Employer Data Change Request (SS Form R-8) supported by the required

    document/s, in any of the following cases:

    -Temporary suspension, permanent cessation or merger/consolidation of

    business operations; and

    -Changes in the employer's data such as business name, address, ownership,

    legal personality and other relevant information.

    6. Request for replacement of the Employer Registration Plate, in case of loss or

    change of business name and/or address that will result to change of SSS branch

    ownership, using the Application for Employer Registration Plate.

    7. Always use your 13-digit Employer Number in all your transactions with the SSS.

    R-1A (Employment Report)

    1. Submit in two (2) copies and indicate the types of employer and report by putting

    checkmarks on the applicable boxes.

    2. Employers are required to report within thirty (30) days to the SSS all its

    employees, who are subject to compulsory coverage. Should such employee die, becomes

    sick or disabled or reaches the age of sixty (60) without being reported by his employer,

    4. Completion of Requirements. Go to the different departments concerned (located at

    Registering with the Bureau of Foods and Drugs

    1. The fees charged for manufacturers and traders of products regulated by BFAD are

    based on the capital invested.

    2. Renewal of LTO shall be on the anniversary of its issuance and shall be valid for

    3. A surcharge of 25% of annual fee shall be charged per quarter (every three

    months) of delay in filing an application for renewal of the LTO.
