Exercise: Attributing and Reporting the Citron House

Exercise: Citron House : Attributing Floors

Select the floor bodies in the tree.

Select the Floor Construction package in the Uniformat dictionary.

Add the package to the geometry.

Attributing Walls

Select the CMU bodies and add the C1010 Partitions package.

Filtering Geometry: Quality Control

Select the Uniformat package and use the color filter to hide elements that have been attributed with Uniformat.

Attributing Stairs

Select the Stair bodies and add the C2010 Stair Construction package.

Attributing Exterior Walls

Select the Cladding bodies and add the B2010 Exterior Wall package.

Filtering Geometry: Quality Control

Select the Uniformat package and use the color filter to hide elements that have been attributed with Uniformat. Be sure to Reset

before applying the new filter.

Attributing Roof Finishes

Select the Membrane Roof bodies and add the B3010 Exterior Wall package.

Attributing Flashing

Select the Flashing bodies and add the B3010 Roof Finishes package.

Reporting Windows

NOTE: You must have Microsoft Excel installed in order to report windows or create cost estimates.

Click on the Window Schedule icon and Excel will tabulate all windows, with dimensions.

Cost Estimation

NOTE: You must have Microsoft Excel installed in order to report windows or create cost estimates.

Click on the Cost Estimate icon and Excel will tabulate costs according to a standard template.
