1. Size
your bulletin board can be any sizeat all, though the vertical dimensions
should not be less than 30 or 40
inches. It can be fitted with an easel
for display on a table or made of
chalkboard dimensions and suspended
from hooks, or it can occupy an entire
wall.

composition board, plywood, or
similar materials-either alone or
covered with burlap or monks
cloth are serviceable.

It is wise to cover the pages ofevery bulletin board with woodframing, plastic tape or some otherdurable binding. This statement
applies to all types of bulletin boards-those attached to walls and theportable ones made of cork, linoleum,
or other materials that can crack andbeak off.

4. Visibility
Place the bulletin board at theeye level of the students in your
room.Be certain that the color of
the board both harmonizes with
the surroundings and provides
