Induction—Ideally suited for applications where the lamps are difficult, costly or hazardous to access and operate in extremely cold temperatures.

Fluorescent— For commercial and residential use, these lamps use about 75% less energy and 75% less heat than standard incandescent bulbs and last up to 10 times longer.

LED— Light Emitting Diode lamps produce light based solely on the movement of electrons and may last up to 60 times longer than incandescent bulbs and up to 10 times longer than fluorescent bulbs.

Emergency— Lights that burn steady for a minimum of 90 minutes on battery power and are used to provide illumination of emergency egress pathways.

NYC—Fixtures with this symbol meet building codes and statutes governing the City of New York for emergency egress and lighting product.
