EXPANDING THE PACK
Locate the exterior sliders shown in the image to the left.
Separate the sliders until each one is all the way up the left and
right sides, and hidden in their covers.
The expansion uses locking sliders, so you may partially zip for
various load requirements.3

to the sliders store them towards the side of the pack rather than

SIDE WALL MOLLE
The interior side walls of the pack have a series of attaching
webbing that allows you to secure radio pouches, magazine
pouches, or frag pouches.
On both sides at the top, there are two straps, which are ideal
for strobe pouches and other short pouches. Below them are
three straps, which are ideal for taller pouches such as magazine
pouches.
Span the gap between the two sets of straps for even taller
pouches such as radio pouches.

INSTALLING MOLLE PANEL INSERT (SOLD SEPARATELY)
The EXP 2100™ PACK allows the use of the EXP PACK MOLLE INSERT,
which can be connected via six snap attachment points on the
perimeter of the main compartment. For ease of use, attach
pouches to the insert before securing it within the pack.
With pouches already secured to the insert, center the insert on
the back wall of the pack and secure the snaps.
1
2
Ensure that all snap straps are tucked behind the pouches.3
14OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS
You can also use the insert to stabilize your weapon by utilizing the
gear straps included with the insert. Place the weapon at desired
location and position and find corresponding bar on the insert that
the gear strap will attach to.
Peel open VELCRO® tab on the gear strap. Pass long end of the
strap through opening until the opened tab hits the bar and secure
in place.
Note: For a vertical install, be sure that the VELCRO® tab secures toward the
bottom of the frame, otherwise the weight of the item may disengage the tab.
For a horizontal install, the direction of the VELCRO® tab is decided by the
desired way to release the gear strap.
Ensure both ends are free to wrap around the weapon.

ATTACHING STERNUM STRAP
Don the pack with a reasonable load and determine the desired
stow location for the sternum strap.
Route the short webbing end underneath the stow, so that the
snap is located outboard of the stow webbing.
1 2
Pass the long webbing end behind shoulder pad.
3
Secure the snap and tuck the end of the webbing under the stow
webbing.
4
16OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS
Fully attached and connected sternum strap.
17 EXP 2100 PACK
FRAME SHEET REMOVAL/INSTALL
For ease of removal, expand the pack completely. Invert the
bottom portion of the pack to expose the frame sheet sleeve.
Rotate to the bottom and locate the frame sheet sleeve opening.
1
2
Open the sleeve and peel away the bottom portion to expose the
frame sheet.3
18OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS
Slightly bow the corners of the frame sheet, if needed, being
careful not to bend the aluminum stay channel sewn into the
frame.
4
Pull the frame free until it reaches the top corners, bow it slightly
if needed, and rotate it out.
To re-install, reverse the process, being sure that the aluminum
stay channel is oriented away from wearers back.

19 EXP 2100 PACK
WAIST BELT REMOVAL
Lay the pack on its side and reverse the curve of the waist belt
to create slack in the attaching tab, located at the shoulder strap
anchor.
Flatten the fold on the attaching webbing and pass it through the
hardware, freeing the connection. Repeat on the opposite side.
1
2
Separate the VELCRO® behind the back pad, on both left and right
sides.3
20OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS
With one hand maintaining the VELCRO® separation and holding
the back pad, pull the waist belt free with the other hand.
Secure the VELCRO® in place.
To re-install, reverse the process.
