6 Meet our Archaeologist

The Foyer (A) Chat with our archaeologist and find out about the hidden gems that have been found onsite so far during demolition. It has been a hospital for more than 160 years, so dozens of buildings have been constructed and demolished over the years, leaving behind a myriad of remnants, artefacts and fascinating stories to be discovered.

11 Demolition Tours

The Foyer (A) Pre-booked tours only 8.00am—4.00pm Get up close and personal with the demolition that has been taking place behind the scenes. See the machines in action from the deck, take control of what you see through the virtual window and learn all about our minecraft experience.

13 Ten Gigabit AdelaideThe Foyer (A) Ten Gigabit Adelaide is a revolutionary high-speed, high-performance fibre optic data network that is being rolled out to commercial buildings across the City of Adelaide. Come and learn more about how this network will enable businesses and organisations to share and receive high volumes of data at phenomenal 10Gbps data speeds.

The City of Adelaide has partnered with TPG Telecom as the ‘Official Network Provider’ to implement the first and most visible element of Ten Gigabit Adelaide: the delivery and installation of a fibre optic network across the City.

18 KIK Coffee 3D Printing

The Foyer (A) See how advanced manufacturing technology can customise the chocolate experience by using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software to transfer the design to a 3D printer and bring it to life. Chocolate that looks just as good as it tastes.

17 Demolition Platform

The Courtyard (C) Take a closer look at the Stage One Demolition. Watch as the impressive PC1250 Ultra High Reach Demolition excavator uses powerful hydraulics and mechanical shears to deconstruct buildings piece by piece. Deconstruction of the East Wing has begun, this is your chance to see the building come down live onsite.
