A company of the Group
The CompanyThe Robotec Systems GmbH company based in
Kamp-Lintfort (with ideal transport links between
the conurbations of the Ruhr and the left bank of the
lower Rhine) was founded in April 1998.
Since then Robotec Systems has developed into one of
the leading suppliers for Automotive Industry in terms
of robot technology, robot cables and pre-assembled
cable solutions.
The company now known as Robotec Systems GmbH
was originally founded in Moers on April 1, 1998
as Protec Kabel West GmbH. As a subsidiary of the
former Protec Kabel in Bretzfeld, its activities initially
focused on the sale of cables and wires.
The company subsequently went to on to specialise in
special-purpose cables for robots, cables for different
applications, production and sale of robot dress packs
including the associated suspension components and
pretailored wiring.
In July 2002, the company moved into a new
production and administrative building in Kamp-
Lintfort.
Since July 2012, Robotec Systems GmbH has been
a wholly owned subsidiary of HELUKABEL® GmbH
based in Hemmingen, Baden Württemberg. At the
same time, the company merged with HELU-Robotics,
which is a subsidiary of Robotec Systems, continues
to be based in Hemmingen

Installation/Optimisation
In case of damage, we can repair or replace the dresspacks on request. It is our pleasure to handle ongoing and preventative maintenance.

With the R-TecBox, Robotec Systems has succeeded in
creating a new system for optimum guidance of the energy
packs from axis 3 to axis 6 on industrial robots.
The energy pack is guided securely, effectively with
low-wear in the specially produced housing. The integrated
spring return system is unique.

with spring guideOur solution for small series robots and special robots
Our energy supply system with a spring guide allows
parts to be mounted and replaced quickly. On the
3rd axis of this solution is an additional place for
own components. It is also possible to integrate the
internal dresspack of the robot on the 3rd axis.
Our dresspacks are streamlined and ideal for confined
spaces. The corrugated tube is installed close to the robot
from the first to the last axis. If any subsequent modifi-
cations are necessary, the system can be simply readjusted.
All standard applications and many special solutions have
been realised successfully with this system over the years.

Since 1988, HELUKABEL® has been producing more
than 340.000 km of wire annually in its own factory in
Windsbach, to a high standard. More than 150 highly
qualified employees are specialised in manufacturing
a large variety of high-specification cables. The cable
factory is regarded as a centre of excellence in the
business areas of automation, data technology, building
systems technology and renewable energies.
We manufacture cables and wires from a wide range of
materials in more than 10.000 m2 of production space
and meet every possible expectation on modern cable
production. HELUKABEL® offers its customers products
to practically every standard and regulation. Our range
is rounded out by special cables produced to customer
requirements.
High-tech Logistics Centre
HELUKABEL® has one of Europe‘s largest automated
cable and wire distribution centres. The majority of our
33.000 products are warehoused in the state-of-the-
art Hemmingen facility, near Stuttgart.
Using the latest conveyor and control technology, the
extensively automated distribution centre compiles
thousands of “just-in-time” orders daily from over
40.000 pallet storage spaces by 18 rack feeders. The
small-piece warehouse is also fully automated, further
increasing our ability to fulfill orders for our customers
around the world as quickly as possible.
Research & Development
We offer optimal, customized solutions for our
customers. The focus is on flexible cables for diverse
applications.
We develop cables that are exceptionally durable and
per-form under conditions such as extreme chemical,
electrical and mechanical stress combined with small
bending radii and a high number of bending cycles.
