UNT Undergraduate Mathematics Colloquium presents It's a global phenomenon! Over 4 million people across the globe this year have discovered the mathematical magic and awe of Exploding Dots. So let me share this mind-blowing story with you too! We'll whip through the school mathematics you thought you knew so well and shed brand new light on it all. And then we'll go wild and quirky and turn all those ideas upside down! It's the story of place value, but why stick with whole numbers for bases? Let's discover all sorts of new mathematics just by pushing familiar ideas to their absolute max!
