• Students interested in natural sciences study together how space weather affects on us. – Groups from the project schools make small studies

and present them in Puerto Rico– In Puerto Rico the groups have astronomy and space

science workshops– In Arecibo students make scientific measurements

• Real expert help to plan and do the expedition and guide it

• Our school has very strong culture in doing international projects– Ten projects going on at the moment– It is easy to recruit students– Support from the Principal – Getting funding have been succesfull– there are plenty of contacts with other schools

• Exchange students every year

Doing is a Cultural process

• During the past years the basic concept for doing projects has been formed – Cooperation with a few schools– Students take a course in their own school– Students make the project during the course

Culture creates models

• Projects are a good opportunity to explore new ways to study – Inguiry-based-learning– Using ICT to connect people or to do things

differently– Learning can be shifted to normal classes

• National curriculum is changing– Computers to final tests and more ICT
