In 1780, General Cornwallis, the leader of the Brit-ish, came marching into Charlotte and encoun-tered a hornet’s nest of rebellion. Join The Charlotte Museum of History this summer and enter into the hornet’s nest to explore the Queen City’s colonial and revolutionary past. In this two (2) hour program, students of all ages will learn about all the people who called Charlotte home for the last 250 years. Looking for a high school program? No problem! All the thematic areas can be easily adapted for older audiences.

Unable to come to us? We can come to you! With a travel fee (dependent on distance) all thematic areas, excluding Living in the Backcountry, are available for off-site delivery.

The program is offered at a rate of $10

per student, and $5 per adult.

A minimum of ten (10) students are

required per program.
