• All Chemicals are food quality or bio-degradable – Bleaching Powder & Calcium Carbonate

• Macro monitoring by the Govt. started only recently

• Water quality of the lagoons/canal was addressed by the Govt. only recently.

• No serious problems with the exported product• Textiles, Agriculture are more damaging to the

environment – poisonous chemicals used.
