IntroductionWhen Discovery option is available in TDM 960 it is possible to import domains detected from Informatica Developer to TDM.This feature allows to use existing domains detected in IDE, although there are some restrictions on the rules that the profile uses:- Rules should not use Labeler nor Tokenizer transformations- Rules cannot use contents or dictionaries
Before trying to import profiling results to TDM, ensure that the latests EBFs are applied (9.6.0 version without EBFs does not work properly when importing results).
Detailed guide
Create a Data Domain
A Data Domain will be created in TDM with no rules. The name assigned to this domain will be used in Inforamtica Developer to create the Data Domain as follows.
Data Domains in Informatica Developer are located in Window, Preferences, Data Domain Glossary, Data Domains menu. Domains are added using “Add” button in this window.
In this point data and/or column name rules are assigned. Not all kind of rules are allowed in TDM, as mentioned before:- Rules should not use Labeler nor Tokenizer transformations

If there are dependencies present, maybe the profile will not work in TDM. No contents nor dictionaries can be used for TDM import.

No objects should be displayed in this step. Reference tables and probabilistic models may make fail the import in TDM.
In this point the Domain has been exported and now a xml file is ready to be imported in TDM.
