Key Characteristics• Commercial area in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale and
residential in Sunnyvale to Mountain View
• Gateway to Downtown Mountain View
• Freeway-like section through Sunnyvale
• Parallels US 101
• 94,000 vehicle trips daily

Southern end more arterial-like; Mid-section more high-end expressway with freeway-like segments; and Northern end more high-end express arterial.
Key Characteristics
• 6-8 lanes wide, including HOV lanes
• Connects residential and employment areas through 5 cities
• 3 freeway connections: I-280, US 101, SR 237
• 253,000 vehicle trips daily
