MESSAGE FROM DEAN GLENN HUBBARD

Dear Members of the Columbia Business School Community,

For a century, Columbia Business School has built a remarkable reputation in graduate management education, producing intelligent and engaged business leaders who impact the world in powerful and lasting ways. Critical to the School’s continued success is the guidance and support of its Board of Overseers, an esteemed group of leaders from business, government, and the nonprofit sector. We are immensely fortunate to have a Board of Overseers comprised of the highest caliber of individuals.

In addition to advising the Business School’s senior leadership, board members participate in events, programs, centers, and initiatives, providing students and faculty members with unparalleled access to industry insights and enriching the entire School community. They also marshal enthusiasm and support for the School’s most exciting and ambitious endeavors, including our current plan to create state-of-the-art facilities on Columbia University’s new Manhattanville Campus.

Led by co-chairs Henry Kravis ’69 and Art Samberg ’67, our Board of Overseers works diligently to ensure that Columbia Business School continues to produce the innovative ideas, research, and leaders that will shape the future of business.

I invite you to get to know our board members, whose accomplishments and dedication to the School are a testament to the talent and drive of our many alumni all over the world.

Glenn Hubbard Dean and Russell L. Carson Professor of Finance and Economics

MESSAGE FROM CO-CHAIRS HENRY R. KRAVIS ’69 AND ARTHUR J. SAMBERG ’67

Dear Friends of Columbia Business School,

As co-chairs of the Board of Overseers of Columbia Business School, we are honored to introduce you to the talented members of this distinguished group. Though we come from diverse backgrounds and hold a range of positions in our respective fields, we share a deep commitment to furthering the success and growth of the School, its ideas, and its remarkable community.

The members of the Board of Overseers play critical roles in the life of Columbia Business School, serving as ambassadors, advocates, sponsors, lecturers, advisors, and leaders. In addition to sharing our insight and feedback with Dean Hubbard, we aim to set a worthy example for the rest of the Columbia Business School community through our impassioned engagement while continuing to expand the School’s unmatched access to the world of business.

Serving on the Board of Overseers is a special honor, and we are thrilled to help Columbia Business School sustain its tradition of excellence as it embarks on the next exciting chapter in its history.

Sincerely yours,

Henry R. Kravis ’69 Co-founder, Co-chairman, and Co-CEO Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.
