Housing for students in Akureyri is always in great demand. As
an exchange student you can apply for
accommodation in a student residence through the Student Housing
Office (www.festaha.is). Please send the
Student Housing application to the International Office along
with your exchange application and noticethat there are limited
number of rooms available there . Exchange students are also
offered housing in local
guesthouses. Finding accommodation in Akureyri on your own is
very difficult. Please consult the Manager ofInternational
Relations for help in this matter. If you decide to arrange private
