SUNIL KRISHNA Mr. Krishna’s area of practice encompasses the entire spectrum of intellectual property management. He has to his credit vast and diverse experience in Trade Mark prosecution. In addition, he is actively involved in counseling a wide range of Indian and multinational clients. He has been playing a pivotal role in client counseling, especially in the development of IP portfolios, licensing and joint ventures.
MANISH SAURASTRI Manish Saurastri is a Partner with Krishna & Saurastri Associates. He has demonstrated credentials in all aspects of Intellectual Property law and enforcement, especially in Patents, Trade Marks and Copyrights litigations. He has been the preferred choice of numerous domestic and international clients to advise and handle their IP issues. In addition to Patents and Trade Marks prosecution, his prowess extends to providing counseling to clients on all aspects involving the divestitures and joint ventures, anti-counterfeiting measures and passing off. Mr. Saurastri has a Degree in Commerce and Law from the University of Bombay (Mumbai). He is associated with many professional organizations and is a regular speaker, articulating his views on IP laws, enforcement, licensing, franchising and technology transfers. He is registered to practice before the Intellectual Property Office India and is also registered with the Bar Council of India.
AFSAR S S Afsar is a Partner & Patent Attorney in the Engineering Department of Krishna & Saurastri Associates. His practice areas include patent application preparation and prosecution of both domestic and foreign patent applications in the field of Electrical and Electronics, Computer hardware and software, Telecommunications, Web based applications such as Internet applications and Communication protocol, providing opinion on patentability, validity and infringement issues. Mr. Afsar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics from Delhi University and a Master’s Degree in Electronics from Jamia Millia Islamia. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Bangalore University. He has more than nine years of experience in patent searching, providing opinion, drafting and prosecution of patent applications. He is registered to practice before the India Patent & Trademark Office and is also registered with the Bar Council of India. Mr. Afsar is a member of Advisory Committee to guide and advice Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, Government of Kerala State, India on matters pertaining to Intellectual Property Rights.
RICHA PANDEY Ms. Richa Pandey is a Patent Attorney and a Partner with Krishna and Saurastri Associates, Delhi (Gurgaon) office. She is an advocate and a registered patent agent. Her core work areas include patent filing, patent prosecution, patent opposition, patent litigation, patentability opinions, searches, invalidity opinions and portfolio management. Ms. Pandey holds a Degree in Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Lucknow. Ms. Pandey has also been a guest speaker at various national & International conferences on Intellectual Property.
ANAND MAHURKAR Anand Mahurkar is a Partner and head of the Pune branch office of Krishna & Saurastri Associates. He is a registered Patent Agent and an IP attorney with a membership of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. He is has more than 10 years of overall experience including industry, academic and Intellectual Property Management. Mr. Mahurkar is a Mechanical Engineer having his masters’ degree in Manufacturing Systems from BITS, Plain (Raj). He pursued LLB degree from the University of Pune (M.S) India and has several courses of the WIPO Academy, Geneva in IP Management to his credit with impressive grades. The practice areas of Mr. Anand Mahurkar include patents prosecution, industrial designs protection, brand protection, trademarks and copyright registration. He has experience of drafting a number of patents and office actions specially pertaining to USPTO, and PCT. VASANT SAVANGIKAR Dr. Savangikar is a Patents Attorney experienced in conducting patent searches, drafting patent specification, carrying out due diligence, infringement risk analysis, Freedom-to-Operate analysis and opinion, International commercial agreements with global companies and Private Equity Companies based on the Indian patent applications, drafting and filing of International Patents applications and National Phase patent applications and monitoring their prosecution in Patents offices through local Patents Attorneys in other countries, advise on Intellectual Assets Management, IPR directed R & D.
GIRISH SHETH Girish Sheth is a Partner & Patent Attorney in the Chemical and Engineering Department of Krishna & Saurastri Associates. His practice areas include patent search, patent drafting and patent prosecution in the chemical, mechanical and electrical and electronic engineering. Mr. Sheth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. He worked as a Process Engineer in the dyestuff and chemical industry. SAIMA ANSARI Saima Ansari is a Partner and Patent Attorney in the Life Sciences and Chemistry Department of Krishna & Saurastri Associates. DIVYENDU VERMA
Mr. Divyendu Verma is an Advocate and Patent & Trademark attorney with over 10 years of experience. Mr. Verma has vast experience
in Intellectual Property (IP) Strategy Advisory, Patent Drafting, Prosecution and Analytics. He has handled and managed large Intellectual
Property (IP) portfolios for multiple national and international organizations involving drafting IP implementation framework, and
assisting clients to build their IP portfolio. He also has rich experience in technology deployment involving implementation of telecom
and IT infrastructure, and software development.
Mr. Verma has expertise in technology transfer agreements and drafted/ negotiated intellectual property licensing and cross-licensing

KIRAN DANG Kiran Dang is a Senior Associate in the Trade Marks Department of Krishna & Saurastri Associates and a registered Patent Agent. Her practice areas include Trade Marks prosecution, opposition and providing opinion on registrability of Trade Marks. She has been advising clients on management of Trade Mark portfolio for more than 25 years now. She also advises clients on issues relating to Copyrights and Designs. Ajit Raul Ajit Raul is a Patent Agent and associated with the Engineering Department of Krishna & Saurastri Associates as Senior Patent Associate. KAVITA MUNKUR NIGAM Kavita Munkur Nigam is a Partner at Krishna & Saurastri Associates. CLITTY SHAJU Clitty Shaju is a Senior Associate in the Trade Marks Department of Krishna & Saurastri Associates. She assists clients in the complete spectrum of services from customizing a trademark to getting it promptly registered, advice in the area of innovative and non-conventional trademarks to facilitate brand protection and recognition and to expedite the process of acquiring a trademark. Her practice area includes Trade Marks, Designs and Copyrights and prosecution before the Trade Marks Registry and Designs Office. Before joining Krishna and Saurastri Associates in 2007 she worked as an Examiner of Trade Marks in the Trade Marks Registry, India for about five years. She also practiced in the field of criminal, civil, consumer protection and Administrative matters.
MADHUMITA SEN Madhumita Sen is a Senior Associate with Krishna & Saurastri Associates. Ms. Sen's practice areas include Trade Marks, Designs and Copyrights and prosecution before Trade Marks and Design Offices of India. Ms. Sen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law and Arts from the University of Ranchi and a Masters degree in law from the University of Mumbai. VIDYADHAR BHANAGE Mr. Bhanage works as a Associate & Patent Attorney with Pune of Krishna and Saurastri Associates. He is a chemical engineer by education. He is a registered patent agent and also enrolled as an advocate with Bar council of Maharashtra and Goa. He has around 8 years of experience in the field of Intellectual property. MEENAL PHADTARE Ms. Meenal is a registered Patent Agent with the Indian Patent Office. She has 5.6 years of experience in the area of Patents. Specifically in Prior art Search and Analysis . SAMRIDDHI KHANDELWAL Ms. Samriddhi Khandelwal is an Associate with the Trade mark department of Krishna & Saurastri Associates She is dealing with the matters of Prosecution of the Applications, replying to the Examination Reports, corresponding with clients, giving opinions to the client. Drafting oppositions, RTI application, working on Post registration matters. Before joining Krishna and Saurastri in year 2013, she has worked with an advocate practising Civil matters, drafting leave and license agreements, minutes books of the Company, business letters and various other matters. (2008- 2009) She was also working with Thomson Reuters Panges3 as a Legal Associate in the litigation department. RADHIKA BHATE Ms. Bhate is an Associate with Pune branch of Krishna & Saurastri Associates. Paulome Mehta is a Patent Assistant in the Life Sciences & Chemistry Department at Krishna & Saurastri Associates. Her practice areas

ANSHUL SAURASTRI
Anshul Saurastri is an associate at Krishna & Saurastri Associates. His practice focuses on contentious and non-contentious issues in all
forms of intellectual property (i.e. patents, trademarks, copyrights, etc), media and entertainment and contractual and corporate-

undergraduate (bachelors) technical degree from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. He received a law degree from the
Government Law College, University of Mumbai and is licensed to practice law in India.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked at a large Indian law firm, as a financial/technical analyst in various USA based early stage venture
capital/private equity firms, as a business strategy consultant, and as a lab researcher in leading USA based research institutions for
which he received recognition as an author in a publication in the journal Blood.
Having a unique blend of coursework in the sciences, engineering and law and valuable training in legal services, financial and technical
analysis, strategic business advisory and lab research, he has amassed cross-functional expertise. His clients consider him a legal hybrid

ARUNDHATI NAYUDU
Arundhati Nayudu is a Junior Associate in the Engineering Department of Krishna & Saurastri Associates. She is practicing in the

Sima Katikar is a registered Patent Agent with the Indian Patent Office. She has over 6 years of experience in the area of Patents.

Studies, Freedom to operate studies, Patent Landscaping, NCE and Structure Analysis. She also has experience in drafting responses to

UMME SALAMAH TYEBJEE
Umme Salamah Tyebjee is a Patent Assistant in the Life Sciences & Biochemistry Department of Krishna & Saurastri Associates. Her
practice areas include prosecution of applications, responding to Examination Reports, managing patent portfolios, corresponding with
clients.
She holds a B.Sc Hons. Degree in Biochemistry & Life Sciences from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from
the University of Pune. She holds a Diploma in Medical Jurisprudence and Forensic Sciences and is registered with the Bar Council of
Maharashtra and Goa.
RADHIKA JOSHI
