General:

This document defines the guidelines for manufacturing and packaging fabric face masks.

1. Approved fabric types:

1.1 Satin 500, col. White: 1.1.1 Composition: 100% cotton 1.1.2 Weight: 133 gr/sqm 1.1.3 Yarn count: 80/1, 100/1 1.1.4 Density: 205x(88*3) 1.1.5 Construction: Satin weave

1.3 For health reasons, the fabrics must not be dyed nor finished with harmful chemicals or substances.1.4 Formaldehyde softener and "Wrinkle Free" chemicals are forbidden.1.5 Approved fabric shrinkage up to 3%.1.6 Fabrics should be confirmed with OEKO-TEX 100 standard, level 1, valid to the date of production and finishing of fabric.

1.2 Percale 200, col. White: 1.2.1 Composition: 100% cotton 1.2.2 Weight: 126 gr/sqm 1.2.3 Yarn count: 40/1, 40/1 1.2.4 Density: 90/110 1.2.5 Construction: 1/1

2. Cutting and manufacturing:

2.1 Mask sizes: XS: 6–8 years | S: 9–12 years | M: 13–15 years | L: Adult | XL: Beards.2.2 The cut is based on a two-layered rectangular shape, as shown below:

Sew the rubber band between the two layers of fabric, with the loop facing inwards.

Leave a 7 cm opening for reversing the fabric.

4.1 Satin 500, Satin 220, or Percale 200 - X3 Fabric piece. 4.2 Label 2.0 x 1.5 cm | X3 4.3 User manual.4.4 Excellent quality 6 mm braided rubber | Durable at 60°C. 300% elongation (stretching) - 3 units.4.5 Sewing thread | White triple-ply 60/3, 40/3.

5. Approval:

5.1 The production method must be according to the specifications.5.2 Prior to production, the sewing method and finished product must be approved by the client.5.3 Do not use fabric that is not cut the warp direction.5.4 The product must be manufactured according to the specifications, with emphasis on reinforcement at the beginning and end of the stitch, continuous stitching, consistent stitch size, reinforcement of the connection of the rubber band to the mask, symmetry, absence of distortion, meticulous final dimensions, cleanliness, and finish.5.5 Before starting any new batch, materials and methods must be approved.5.6 Product must be approved according to the guidelines on the website: https://go.gov.il/masks-production.

6. Quality and durability:

6.1 Stitch two layers of fabric together for each mask.6.2 User Bartck-stitch or upper-stitch to reinforce each of the four rubber band connection points to the fabric.

7. General requirements:

7.1 Ensure that there are no wool or linen fibers at all in the finished product. To clarify, the product will be free of "Shatnez" (in accordance with Jewish law), and a manufacturer's declaration to this effect is required.7.2 To avoid contamination, all those involved in manufacturing the masks must wash their hands thoroughly with soap and put on a face mask before starting work.7.3 Warning: Not suitable for children under 6 years of age. To avoid danger of suffocation, use the product according to instructions. This product is not a toy.

8. Packaging:

8.1 Wear gloves and face masks while packaging these kits.8.2 Place three masks and an information leaflet in a clear plastic bag. Seal the bag with glue.8.3 Affix two labels to the bag in a designated location (see Section 10).8.4 Prepare one kit containing three units as a certified model, as the prototype for all further kits.
