1.) Facebook and relationships & the freaky stuff people say Random thoughts often plague my mind. I recently started dating someone. Someone, actually worth keeping around. He’s generous, thoughtful, caring and actually seems marriage- minded (thank you Patti) So, I’ve been thinking lately, when is it time to change your Facebook status from either nothing or Single to “In a Relationship”? What is the etiquette here? Do you have this convo with the other person, or do you go ahead and change it and then wait, cringing till they Say something? (Which btw, I would not d0, but know people who would) When I really think about it, I’m thinking this a conversation to be had between the two people, but you have to be comfortable talking about it, if your not then maybe it’s not time to be changing any sort of status…. Hmm, did I just answer my own question? In any event let me know what you think. 2.) 1.) Facebook and relationships & the freaky stuff people say

Random thoughts often plague my mind. I recently started dating someone. Someone, actually worth keeping around. He’s generous, thoughtful, caring and actually seems marriage-minded (thank you Patti) So, I’ve been thinking lately, when is it time to change your Facebook status from either nothing or Single to “In a Relationship”? What is the etiquette here? Do you have this convo with the other person, or do you go ahead and change it and then wait, cringing till they Say something? (Which btw, I would not d0, but know people who would) When I really think about it, I’m thinking this a conversation to be had between the two people, but you have to be comfortable talking about it, if your not then maybe it’s not time to be changing any sort of status…. Hmm, did I just answer my own question? In any event let me know what you think.

2.) Textual & Sextual matters of the heart

Have you ever been texting someone and you can’t quite figure out what theyMean or what they are intending to say? Do your thoughts suddenly turn to thinking in a sexual way, and taking what they are saying out of context thinking they’re thinking sexual? It’s so hard not knowing that others persons intention? I alwaysfind myself thinking “what do they mean”? “how do they intend for me to take that comment”? “Hurry, think of something witty”! Or is it just me? I don’t know, maybe I’m weird. But then, there are times when the convo is normal and good and the other person isn’t being too playful and flirty. I mean, what’s the etiquette here too, how can you be flirty with out giving the impression you’re wanting to “sext”? Or be a little flirty without coming off as slutty. Maybe a little mystery couldn’t hurt… Is the age of immediate gratification totally screwing us over in the dating world?? Ahhh, one of life’s great mysteries….
