Introduction:

We all wear masks in life. Some wear them to fit in, others wear them to stand out. Some people use masks to perform great things. Others hide behind them.

• What masks do you wear on a frequent basis?

• Why do you wear these masks?

• If you honestly feel you never wear a mask, explain.

YOUR MISSIONCreate your alter-ego:

You will create your own mask that you will be able to “hide-behind”.

Today, you will sketch out and get a rough idea as to what you want your mask to look like

Tomorrow, you will bring in the suppliesthat you need to work on it.

ALTER-EGOANOTHER SIDE OF ONE-SELF

POSSIBLE SUPPLIES ?

• Glue, paper plates, plain masks to decorate…

• feathers, popsicle sticks, markers, Sharpies, scissors…

• pens, pencils, foam decorations, rulers, glitter, etc.

OTHER THOUGHTS

• BE CREATIVE- The only restriction is that it remain school appropriate. Everything else is on the table.

• Have fun…Or don’t. But it’s better if you have fun.
