Our four different styles of Pullman carriages seat between 20 and 26 passengers with seating combinations of tables for one, two, three and four (tables of four are in private compartments). At busy times, parties of two may be seated sharing a table of four with another party of two. For a little more privacy, why not select a private compartment for two? Our reservations office can provide further information.

CARRIAGES Each Belmond British Pullman carriage is unique, bearing its own name as well as a colourful history. Lovingly refurbished, their exquisite design and workmanship is legendary.Veneered panels gleam. Art Deco lamps shed soft light on polished brass, bevelled glass and glossy mahogany fittings, while the unique armchairs provide comfortable and intimate dining.

DECADENT DINING Dining on Belmond British Pullman is pure indulgence, with innovative dishes and excellent wines served by your steward. Each menu is lovingly conceived by our chef using the finest British ingredients. His passion is fuelled by knowing he is a part of making someone’s special occasion extraordinary.Each meal is accompanied by the finest wines and champagnes, expertly selected by our sommelier.

DRESS CODE Smart day wear is requested for our journeys. For Dinner departures and for social sporting events such as Glorious Goodwood, passengers may prefer to wear more formal attire. Travel documentation will advise any specific dress codes.

Our day trips and short breaks are entirely flexible: enjoy a train journey on its own or we can organise an extended experience with an overnight stay. We recommend the following hotels:

● The Goring Opened in 1910, this quiet refuge in Victoria is the only family-run five-star hotel in London. Close to Buckingham Palace and Belgravia, it offers elegant surroundings and personal service. Its Dining Room, serving fine British cuisine, was designed by Lord Linley.
