MASTER OF SCIENCE IN APPLIED ECONOMICS
ABOUT THE PROGRAM The MS in Applied Economics Program develops skill in economic reasoning, and in constructing and estimating economic models through the use of econometrics and other quantitative
techniques. This is accomplished by a rigorous and demanding curriculum and a talented and dedicated staff of instructors. All undergraduate majors are welcome.

GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAM
Ten courses*, offered evenings at our Washington, DC Center and in part, also online, are necessary to complete the degree, which is designed as part time, but can be taken at a full-time pace:» Take four core courses
» Choose at least one advanced econometrics course from among our quantitative methods courses
» Choose five electives from 30 courses spanning diverse subfields of economics
*Students with only one semester of undergraduate calculus must take Mathematical Methods for Economists (full-length course at half tuition) in addition to the 10 courses.
