Find someone to work with

Find a Jewish friend, loved one, or even your whole family. Encourage them with promises of presents during Hanukkah, a Shabbat dessert, etc. There also may be classes at your local temple.

Observe the Shabbat

Refrain from driving or using electronics during on Shabbat. Instead, have a Shabbat meal every Friday night. Set the table with a nice tablecloth, arrange a bouquet of flowers as a centerpiece, and cook a homemade meal.

Observe the laws of Kashrut (keeping kosher)

There are levels of how strict or lenient these laws are applied that vary from observer to observer. Full observance is defined as never eating dairy and meat products together, having separate milk and meat dishes, and always refraining from pork or shellfish.
