INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

To possess and understand knowledge in an area of study that is based on general secondaryeducation, and that is usually found at a level that, although supported by advanced textbooks, alsoincludes some aspects that imply knowledge coming from the vanguard of the field of study.

General clarifications on the methodology (optional)- Lectures on the topics included in the program (using the Socratic method) and evaluation tests after thedevelopment of each thematic block (using the Moodle platform).- Directed academic activities, which will be carried out with the aim of delving into those topics of special interestfor student training. Method of assessment of attendance:Attendance to the workshops is mandatory and will be evaluated by class / control list. The absence to more thanone, will suppose a maximum score of 4 (SUSPENSE) in ordinary calls, having to carry out a scientific work(characteristics discussed with teacher in tutoring, for the following call). The characteristics of the work will bedefined individually.It is advisable to attend the evaluation tests carried out in class after the development of each thematic block. Itwill be considered as \"Not Submitted\" when the student does not assist to these evaluation tests.

General clarifications on instruments for evaluation:In relation to the "Exams" section, two instruments must be considered:- Evaluation tests after the development of each thematic block: Objective multiple-choice, individual tests(possible one or more valid), after the development of each thematic block: 20% of the final marks. Thenondevelopment (not justified) of these tests will be scored with the minimum grade (0). In all ordinary calls.- Final exam: Multiple choice objective tests. 4 options, one of these valid. The calculation of the multiple choiceexam grade will be made using the formula: "Successful questions - (erroneous questions / n-1)", where "n"represents the number of answer options: 50% of the final grade. In all ordinary calls.Regarding the remaining two sections ( "Project" and "Case study / clinical case discussion / scientific workdiscussion"):- Activities carried out in a cooperative work team. Development and exhibition of a Project in Education forHealth: 30% of the final marks. In all ordinary calls. It is necessary to reach a mark of 5 in each evaluationinstrument.For the extraordinary call, the evaluation instrument will be unique.- Final exam. Multiple choice objective test. 4 options, of these one valid. The calculation of the multiplechoiceexam grade will be done using the formula: "Success questions - (erroneous questions / n-1)", where "n"represents the number of answer options.In case of not reaching the minimum score in any of the evaluation instrument, it will be qualified witha maximum of 4 (Fail). The methodological strategies and the evaluation system contemplated in this Course Description will be adapted according tothe needs presented by students with disabilities and special educational needs in the cases that are required.

CONTINGENCY PLAN: CASE SCENARIO A

Case scenario A will correspond to a diminished on-site academic activity due to social distancingmeasures affecting the permitted capacity of classrooms.

General clarifications on the methodology on case scenario AA multimodal (hybrid) teaching system will be adopted, combining both on-site and remote classes viavideoconference (synchronous) that will be held in the timetable approved by the corresponding Faculty or School.The time distribution of teaching activities (both on-site and remote) will be decided by the aforementionedFaculties and Schools bearing in mind the permitted capacity of classrooms and social distancing measures asestablished at that time.

The evaluation tests will be in person at the UCO facilities, whenever the health situation allows it.In the final exam, the student will be able to retrieve those continuous assessment tests not passed, as long asthey have been presented to them.This adaptation will be maintained for all calls for the academic year 2020-2021.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

General clarifications on the methodology on case scenario BOn-site teaching activities will be held via videoconference (synchronous) in the timetable approved by thecorresponding Faculty or School. Alternative activities will be proposed for reduced groups in order to guaranteethe acquisition of course competences.

- Lectures on the topics included in the program (using the Socratic method) and evaluation tests after thedevelopment of each thematic block (using the Moodle platform).- Directed academic activities, which will be carried out with the aim of delving into those topics of special interestfor student training. The students will collect the information and analyze, in groups, different health problemsrelated to the contents of the subject and will proceed to share the results and discuss them.-  Seminars in which aspects related to health programs and care processes will be developed.- Non-contact activities: The individual student and / or group, in addition to the exam preparation, will carry outreviews of the scientific evidence, analysis and exhibition, as well as, preparation of a project focused on aCampaign of Education for Health .

Attendance to the workshops is mandatory and will be evaluated by class / control list. The absence to more thanone, will suppose a maximum score of 4 (SUSPENSE) in ordinary calls, having to carry out a scientific work(characteristics discussed with teacher in tutoring, for the following call). The characteristics of the work will bedefined individually.It is advisable to attend the evaluation tests carried out in class after the development of each thematic block. Itwill be considered as "Not Submitted" when the student does not assist to these evaluation tests.

Method of assessment of attendance (Scenario B):

General clarifications on instruments for evaluation (Scenario B):In relation to the "Exams" section, two instruments must be considered:- Evaluation tests after the development of each thematic block: Objective multiple-choice, individual tests(possible one or more valid), after the development of each thematic block: 20% of the final marks. The non-development (not justified) of these tests will be scored with the minimum grade (0). In all ordinary calls.- Final exam: Multiple choice objective tests. 4 options, one of these valid. The calculation of the multiple choiceexam grade will be made using the formula: "Successful questions - (erroneous questions / n-1)", where "n"represents the number of answer options: 50% of the final grade.
