Criteria for Nomination:• Nominees must demonstrate outstanding teaching, librarianship, or counseling.• Nominees must demonstrate dedicated service to SBCC.• Nominees must be on a FULL-TIME CONTRACT.• Previous Faculty Lecturers are not eligible for nomination (see list below).• Faculty Lecturers may not be from the same department two years in a row (see list below).• Your nomination must include (1) the date of your nomination, (2) the name of your nominee, (3) your name, (4) identification of your position as student, staff, administrator, or faculty, and (5) a supporting statement detailing your reasons for the nomination.

Criteria for Nomination:
Nominees must demonstrate outstanding teaching, librarianship, or counseling. Nominees must demonstrate dedicated service to SBCC. Nominees must be on a FULL-TIME CONTRACT. Previous Faculty Lecturers are not eligible for nomination (see list below). Faculty Lecturers may not be from the same department two years in a row (see list below). Your nomination must include (1) the date of your nomination, (2) the name of your nominee, (3) your name,
(4) identification of your position as student, staff, administrator, or faculty, and (5) a supporting statement detailing your reasons for the nomination.
NOTE: Only nominations that address ALL the above criteria will be considered.

Process for Nomination:
EITHER complete the form on the reverse side of this page and place in an FLC nomination box OR complete the form on the reverse side of this page and submit to Kathy O’Connor, via campus mail OR e-mail a complete template (matching the above criteria) to Kathy O’Connor - [email protected] Submit your nomination by the deadline of 4:00 p.m. Tuesday April 30, 2013
Process for Selection:
The Faculty Lecture Committee will evaluate not only the current year nominations but also any nominations from past years, using the criteria above. Preference will be given to nominees who have received at least one faculty nomination in the current year, in addition to nominations from students, staff or administrators.The committee will announce the name of the 2013-2014 honoree following endorsement by the Academic Senate
