“God’s plan for enlarging His kingdom is so simple -one person telling another about the Savior. Yetwe're busy and full of excuses. Just remember, someone’s eternal destiny is at stake. In Mark 16:5, Jesus commands

His disciples,

“Go into all the world

and preach the gospel

to all creation.”

For believers, that great

commandment is a great

privilege. We have the privilege

of joining with Christ as He

gathers a people to Himself

from every tribe, nation, and

tongue. We do that by living on

mission and sharing the Gospel

at home and throughout the

world. At Faith Radio, we want

to equip you to do just that,

which is why we partner with

programmers and ministries

who are themselves sharing the

Good News.

In this issue, we highlight

opportunities for you to share

your faith and even provide a

Gospel tract to help you explain

God’s message of salvation.

During the Easter season,

people often have questions

that can open a door to

spiritual conversations, so be

prepared to respond! Don’t

miss opportunities to reach the

lost for Christ in your community

and beyond.

Patty Mills is a Faith Radio listener who serves asa trainer for Serving Our Savior (SOS), a local ministry that does event evangelism. Since 2001,SOS has seen 70,000 decisions for Christ. I recentlytalked with Patty about her work with SOS.

Why are you involved in sharing the Gospel?Because I want everyone to know that God lovesthem so much that He made a way for them tohave an abundant life here on earth, but moreimportantly, to spend an eternity with Him in heaven. What greater cause or honor could anyChrist follower have than sharing the Good News?

What joy do you get from it?One of our SOS volunteers put it best, “I’ve donea lot of things in my life to make myself feel goodbut NOTHING feels better than leading someoneto Christ.”

How does Faith Radio help you disciple new believers? Faith Radio has been instrumental! You have partnered with us and promotedour events, provided faith based literature, and prayed for the ministry. Weare so blessed to be discipleship partners with Faith Radio.

Do you train individuals or groups that want to learn to share? That’s what we love to do almost as much as leading people to Christ - disciple people and groups on sharing Jesus! We use tracts or the unique “See 3 Things God Cannot Do” board that allows you to begin a salvationconversation with anyone, anywhere. To learn more about SOS and theirevangelism training, visit www.sosevents.org.

The Wiregrass Will Graham CelebrationWill Graham, grandson of Billy Graham,is bringing the third generation ofCrusades to the Dothan Civic CenterMay 5-7. Graham wants the saved tobring the lost, and his directive was,“Don’t invite them, bring them!” Thisevent will provide opportunities for sup-port through prayer and through servingas a decision counselor and discipler.

Fields of Faith with the FCAOn football fields across the country in the fall, high school rivals join together for worship, fellowship, andencouragement. Fields of Faith is a student-led outreach event of Fellowship

of Christian Athletes. As students liveout their faith by lifting up the name ofJesus, doors are opened for them toshare Christ with their non-believingfriends. Although students do the leading, adults often do the feeding byproviding a great meal for the event. Ifyou are skilled at the grill, this is a greatopportunity for you to help support thisministry to students.

River Region Judgment HouseFor at least 10 nights during Octobereach year, local churches work togetherto present a walk-through drama thatcauses participants to consider wherethey will spend eternity. Each year,

hundreds of peoplemake decisions forChrist at this powerfulevent. The JudgmentHouse is a largeundertaking, andopportunities aboundfor volunteers in theareas of drama, set-building, prayer, decision counseling, greeting, and a host ofother positions.

They have found that theseevents are great opportunities to engage peoplein conversations that allow them to know howmuch they are loved by God and invite them into a relationship with Jesus Christ. SOS alsotrains believers in sharing the Gospel using the “3 Things” strategy.

Iron Works Men’s Ministry ofCovington CountyEvery month, Christian men in CovingtonCounty gather at an old schoolhouse forfellowship and a free steak dinner. 10 “...preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark 16:15 Faith Radio’s Ministry Magazine - April-July 2017

In December, I traveled to Bogota,Colombia, as part of a Media VisionTrip for Operation Christmas Child,

a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. I witnessed first-hand the evangelisticimpact a simple shoebox makes in the lifeof a child. When you, your family, andchurch pack a shoebox full of schoolsupplies, hygiene items, toys, and more, you can be confident that those boxeswill be used to teach children about arelationship with Jesus.

I observed quite a bit about theOperation Christmas Child effort duringmy stay. The shoebox distribution is donein partnership with the local church. InBogota, the ministry partnered with a pas-sionate group of local church leaders whoinvited children to take part in distributionevents. These joy-filled occasions includedworship and a gospel presentation.

Children receiving shoeboxes areinvited to take part in a 12-lesson disci-pleship program, The Greatest Journey,to discover what it means to be a fol-lower of Christ. Our team attended agraduation ceremony at one localchurch where the children donned capsand gowns and were recognized for thisspiritual milestone. Operation ChristmasChild, in addition to being an evangelisticministry, also has become a children’sdiscipleship ministry and helps to equipchurch leaders in their work with children.

Although many of the Colombianpeople we visited live in extreme poverty, they have a deep, authentic joy. This joy was not only reflected in the smiles on the children’s faces, but through theexcitement of the leaders. There was a realrecognition that even though they lackmaterial possessions, they can have the joyof Jesus. It’s contagious and refreshingand can be an inspiration to all of us as wethink about the sufficiency of our Savior!

Revival Outside the Walls, featuring Barry Meguiar, has

a website (rotw.com) with statistics, videos, and other

resources that can both motivate and equip you to share

Christ. They recently launched a Life Purpose/E-Prayer

Mobile App to be a resource on-the-go.

Evangelism Explosion (“EE”) produces the radio feature Share

Life Today, with EE’s President, John Sorenson. The website

evangelismexplosion.org/share-life-today offers many evan-

gelistic resources, including answers to tough questions, a web

presentation of the Gospel called Steps to Life, and free printable

online tracts.

Making Your Life Count, with speaker Steve Douglass,

is a radio show produced by Cru. The website,

makingyourlifecountradio.org, contains a section on

how to know God, Who is Jesus, and numerous other

resources to aid you in sharing your faith.

Faith Radio has partnered with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to offer

an online tract, 4 Steps to Peace, at faithradio.org.

A popular tool used in sharing the gospel is the

Wordless Book, associated with Child Evangelism

Fellowship, which offers training through

cefonline.com. The Wordless Book is said to

have been given to Charles Spurgeon by another

minister in 1866. It initially had three pages - black (representing sinfulness), red

(representing Christ’s blood), and white (representing cleansing). Later, a gold page

was added to represent heaven. The book, and its colors, has been used by many

to share the Gospel.

Montgomery-based evangelist Terry Veazey, who has been a guest on The Meeting

House from locations around the world, uses a variation of the Wordless Book

evangelism tool: a soccer ball with panels corresponding to the colors of the book.

Faith Radio intentionally partners with ministries that make sharing the good

news of Jesus Christ a priority. Please explore the resources mentioned above

to discover how to more boldly and effectively share your faith.

A memorial gift is a meaningful way to honor someone at the time of death by recognizing that person’s

Christian faith and testimony. Similarly, an honorarium is a tangible way of honoring a living person’s

testimony. We are thankful for individuals listed below who chose to honor friends and loved ones through

a gift that extends the message of Christ through Faith Radio’s ministry.

Isn’t it fun to share good news with others? Those most joyful moments inlife like a new baby, a new home, or a new job are so exciting to tell yourfriends and even those you may not know! We all enjoy sharing good news.

As believers, we have the greatest good news, the Gospel, and we have theresponsibility to share it. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus told us to “Go therefore andmake disciples of all nations...” Jesus’ last command should be our first priority! As Christians, we should find joy in following God’s instructions to go andtell. Supporting Faith Radio is one of the many ways you can share the goodnews of Jesus Christ. When you give a financial gift to this ministry, you arehelping us share God’s love message to thousands of people each day. Your support of this ministry is a way in which you can go and tell becauseFaith Radio is sharing the powerful Resurrection story of Jesus all day everyday. Give a financial gift today that will be used to share the good news thatJesus is risen!
