opportunity.

Each family studio offers a theme

and an instructor to help you

experiment and hone your craft.

Plus—hello!—the museum’s

galleries are filled with amazing

inspiration, so take time to do a

little browsing on your own or with

a tour guide before you make art.

School’s out! Have fun spending time together

exploring art in the galleries and creating art in

the studio. Discover works of art that reflect how

cultures around the world honor their ancestors.

Then create miniature ofrendas to honor special

people from your family or community. Museum

guides and instructors will be on hand to discuss

Day of the Dead traditions in Mexico.

Skate into the snowy season

with a guided visit into the

galleries to find wonderful

wintery works of art. Take

that (icy) inspiration into the

(warm) studio, where you’ll work

together to paint landscapes or

to sculpt a miniature scene to

put inside a snow globe.
