Col labo-rat ing with acclaimed art ist Rich Jacobs, the col lect ion speaks to the t rue essence of qual i ty shoemaking of the past. In t rue Cordonnier spir i t , the col lect ion is our pinnacle plat form where premium mater ia ls, progressive sty l ing and hand craf ted footwear cal l home. This season we are honored to col laborate wi th Oakland, CA based art ist / musician Rich Jacobs. Rich’s s ignature brush strokes embel l ish the col lect ion in t rue Gravis fashion.

His work is f igurat ive, abstract and unmistakably his. Rich Jacobs and Gravis worked together blending his l ine qual i ty and general mel lowness with products that compl iment his raw aesthet ic and def in i t ive personal i ty. A Long Beach Cal i fornia nat ive with almost a decade in New York Ci ty, Rich and his fami ly recent ly returned to Northern Cal i fornia where Jacobs l ives and works. He curates large group shows under the Move moniker.Jacobs feels blessed to do what he does every single day.

Dylan thinks on another level and that’s exactly where these shoes landed. He wanted a shoe that changed colors. As the top layer of this premium leather wears through, a metallic silver coating is exposed bringing to life a whole new shoe. In collaboration with the Alien Work-shop, we introduce “Scratch-Off” leather.
